Glad some of you got laughs out of this, that's all I wanted it to be, a fun thread. I just finished my trash can. It took two boxes.

Let's see. Assume there's 1 billion people in America, and half pay taxes. They all pay equal shares, so 2 boxes / 500 million = 0.0000000004

Oooooh, I just costed you all 0.0000000004 cents! Feel the burn! :devil:

I think I might try and build a computer case now. :)

But what will more than likely happen, if anything happens at all, is that they will start to make everyone pay for the boxes unless they can prove they own a business. Now that would **** me off. I doubt anything will happen other than making people like this pay a fine for going to the extreme (3K+ boxes).

Actually, no.

The boxes and tape available are for Priority Mail customers, as the boxes are paid for by the money consumers spend to ship things Priority through USPS. That's why they are explicitly for USPS shipping.

Don't believe me and still think it's YOUR tax money paying for it? Call up your local post office and ask. :rolleyes:

That's what I was thinking. I'm sure they just use the shipping charges from people shipping with these boxes to cover them.

It was created by Congress (its creation is one of the powers granted to the federal government in the Constitution), originally as a department within the Cabinet. Nixon later re-organised the postal system, and the modern US Postal Service was founded as a government-owned corporation. The Board of Governors of the USPS are appointed by the President and then confirmed by the Senate.

Right, but it's owned and (more or less) run by the government. Which makes it a government agency, unless you are using the technical definition of the word 'agency' (which i learnt in school, but i don't remember it specifically at the moment).... Yes? :/

I ordered one (it had 25 boxes in it) and I managed to cover half a wall with it.

I ordered 2 more (50 boxes), but I'm worried what my Mom will say (she got suspicious when the first order came in, and thinks I'm doing something while she's away).
