CRC failed - The file is corrupt!

Question

Hey everybody..

This may sound, uh, a bit oldschool, or whatever, but I just transfered about 50 files from one PC to another one - using like 100MB-Zip-Discs.

Whatever, it was one pretty big file, so I had to split it in a lot a of smaller files, using WinRAR.

Okay, so far everything was okay.

Now, when I want to extract everything on the other PC, WinRAR keeps spitting out an error-message: "CRC failed - The file is corrupt"

I checked all files with two different SFV-Checkers and both won't find any CRC-errors.

Any ideas how to solve this problem?

Thank you very much!

Try 'The File Splitter': http://www.dekabyte.com/filesplitter/

I haven't tried it myself, but it looks like a very good little program.
