lieb39
Hello everyone, I'm trying to print on my newly purchased mac mini. It's networked to my Active Directory Network, so I can get my shares and such. I'm trying to print to my printer, a HP Deskjet 5550, which is connected to my 2003 server. I tried using the generic and special drivers (downloaded off the net) and each time I get random lettering and such coming out. tried to play with the settings but no luck. anyone have anyy idea why this isn't working? Thanks, lieb39 Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/297671-printing-in-os-x-screws-up/ Share on other sites
lieb39
Just in case anyone else is having a problem- From the Apple boards: The HP-provided driver doesn't support Windows Printing. Install the hpijs and ESP ghostscript drivers from: http://www.linuxprinting.org/macosx/hpijs/ Worked for me! Cheers, lieb39 Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/297671-printing-in-os-x-screws-up/#findComment-585642154 Share on other sites
