I was browsing DeviantArt last night, and noticed this as new:

(There's a problem with the devart dl, so you can go to to actually get the download.)

I figured what the hell, I was bored, and my backup was done anyways...might as well give it a shot.

Now, while they obviously have some work to do on it...so far, I'm pretty damned impressed. It basically does what LongHorn Transformation Pack does...well, it doesn't install the Visual Styles and such by itself (and it uses KoL's with his permission in the archive, and I *far* prefer WindowsX's versions for some reason, so I just use his Slate Refresh instead), but it has plenty of stuff in the archive, and the system file replacement is pretty damn painless if you ask me.

And it made my screens look purrrdy. :cool:

Just the system file replacement, while looking like it was going normally, for some reason just croaked mid-replacement. Removed all the old system files, didn't put new ones in.

Ah, the joys of going into recovery console. :) (Luckily it kept all the old system files in a backup off of system32.)

Also, if a mod is around, can you please change the subject to "LTP" not "LHP"? Please? I dunno where my brain was. :(

Actaully I know what he was talking about, I looked into it and was thinking about using it and now since I am already touch with things like that I don't want to use it. If you don't know what I am talking about then dont bother.

It's one that's included with this pack...I REALLY like it for some reason. Here's my desktop with the "Mystic" mod of Slate Refresh by WindowsX (with a couple minor mods) and that wallpaper:

Dammit, It messed up my system, after I restarted the bootscreen didnt load

(I know it said uncheck bootscreen, but I didnt see it.)

So how should I fix this without having to reformat? I have no idea on how to use that windows recovery tool or whatever..

help pleaseee. :cry:
