AutoPatcher XP May 2005

Just wondering what the correct checksum is for the file. I always want to check that out, cause one other time I downloaded a version that someone messed w/ or something.. cause it wasn't the correct checksum.. I have checked the checksum form the file that I downloaded and I got

Is this the correct checksum??

OPaul: Last SP1 release was August 2004.

tre2004: Checksum matches March 2005 Full.

I just install the Lite Version, whats the difference between lite and full? Lite just has important security fixes which is all thats required right?

Full comes with .NET Framework, Windows Media Player 10, MSN Messenger 6.2, Windows Messenger 5.1, Journal Viewer, etc, etc. Check the "What's included list. Some things (addons) have "(only in Full)".

I already have the full January release of AutoPatcher and the February update for it, so could someone please clarify whether or not I need to upgrade to be full March release of AutoPatcher or am I currently up to date??

Actually January 2005 + February 2005 update = March 2005. Microsoft did not release any patches this month, so the March release is more like a rollup.

I have those two, Januray and Feb 2005 update, thank god I don't have to download the March one. Btw, what do you mean by rollup?

just to clear up,

march includes jan + feb.

it also includes the updates released to it, including:

- sun java 1.5.0_02

- the second fixed .net 1.1 module

- the new tweaks

- the tweak undo's

it also includes a slightly fixed google toolbar module.

and a lot of the tweaks have been changed slightly again.

Both of which were not available seperately.

As long as you have both jan and feb, plus all the extras mentions above except the last two, theres no need to get the march release.

we'll include the google toolbar and tweaks in the next release so everyone stays completely uptodate if they skip the march release.

The main download server has been temporary taken down because of usage. If we would have kept it up it would have used more then 3.5TB in the month of march if the usage pattern kept up.

We will have to limit speeds but it will be returning.

Be careful when installing this ...

After installing this AutoPatcher ... my computer has gone slower, and my Windows Media Player has ADD now.

When I usually minimize mIRC ... it should go to the Systray and no trace on the Tasktray. Nope ... no systray anymore, just tasktry ...

Very very annoying ... how do I uninstall this bloody thing?
