It's been cold until last week in HK and only now do we have some semblance of Spring in the air.

Yes, the butterfly took a really long time - over an hour I think. The colours look nice and vibrant, which is the effect I wanted to achieve.

Some other boards I go to are pretty strict about tags and it's a habit that's hard to break. Will try to remember in future though.

Thanks guys ! It is actually classified under Digital Art > Vector Art at DeviantArt :)

Since there is no separate section on Art here at Neowin, I thought it best to post it under wallpapers. Besides, I see many good pieces at DA which could be used as wallpapers, but unfortunately they aren't the right size :(

I thought it would be best to create this in appropriate sizes for everyone to enjoy ! Thank you again for the supportive comments. I really appreciate it !!

@ neostyle : The white 1 px border that you see is a rendering bug in Illustrator. I've had it before - it makes the resolution 1601 X 1201 and 1281 X 1025 instead of 1600 X 1200 and 1280 X 1024 respectively. If you centre it on the screen, it isn't too obvious though - at least on my LCD it isn't :)
