I finally got my PSP :D. I wasn't going to get it at first but my friend convienced me at the last minute to go and get one.

I waited in line from 1AM to 7AM at the Sony Wonder store and finally go that damn thing :woot:. I must say this is the best handheld ever made, it blows the Nintendo DS out of the damn water ;).

Features:

1. 5-6 Hours of battery life (replaceable batter)

2. Head phones that are white with remote attachment (better than apple ipod head phones)

3. The graphics are just like ps2

4. Wireless connection (can pick up any wireless network and start gaming with other people online) *Also you can setup a network under your home network just like the network adaptor for ps2*

5. The controls are sweet just like a playstation controller but on two trigger buttons (R, L)

6. 32MB Pro Duo Memory Stick (which is can hold music, video, game data, and pictures) *You can upgrade to anything memory stick higher*

7. The Spiderman 2 UMD movie looks just as good as a dvd (menu, extras and all)

8. Wide LCD screen with no glar

9. You can download updates

10. USB port that enables you to send data from PC to PSP

That just about sums everything up, Sony seems to be releasing original PSone titles with new features and some new titles. Grand Turismo is soon to be released in April and Grand Theft Auto should be released in May.

Nintendo is going DOWN :shifty:!!!!!

IMO nintendo > *. However it's unfortunate that Microsoft and Sony have the more popular games. I love nintendo, but nintendo is leaning more and more towards being it's own system with its own games, and by it's own games, I mean nintendo-made games only. If my favorite games are on Sony and Microsoft consoles, it leaves me torn that I can't support my favorite gaming company.

This is a dark day for ShmengeTravel. :(

Bwhahahaha-- I got mine too, but I got it a lot easier. Last week I reserved and I was not to get it until March 31st (2nd shipment), however GameStop had a midnight release so my mom rushed out to the store and only waited in line for 10 minutes and got my PSP back home to me by 12:30. :D

I'm still on the fence about the whole PSP thing, I realize that the graphics are all sorts of stunning, but the fact that you get screwed into having to buy less than cheap memory sticks in order to make any real use of the other features is pretty annoying.

I'm sure I'll come away with one in the end, but I don't think I'll be jumping on it right away, I still have my DS to fiddle with, and honestly that thing was designed for puzzle games, and it works like a dream. Considering that I was opposed to the DS prior to release, then getting an impulse and purchasing one, I'm surprisingly happy with it.

    • DriversCloud 12.1.6 by Razvan Serea With DriversCloud (formerly My-Config.com), you can explore your computer easily, safely and free. The application quickly scans your PC and identifies the hardware and software components. DriversCloud then establishes a list of the different drivers compatible with your OS and hardware. Download the drivers needed for the proper functioning of your computer. To detect your drivers, DriversCloud also displays a detailed summary of your hardware and software configuration, analyzes your BSOD, monitors in real-time your PC voltages and temperatures and lets you share your configuration online. Once the hardware components have been detected, you will be able to obtain with just a few clicks the latest drivers corresponding to the identified hardware. You can record your configuration on the site for free, and can get the corresponding URL to post the configuration to technical forums, e-mail and social networks. You can also download the detection result (the configuration) as a PDF file. To protect the user's privacy and data confidentiality, a 4-level confidentiality system was created that filters the XML marks and gives control to the user. The default level can be modified in the preferences. Using the maximum level will prevent the user from publishing his configuration and generating a corresponding PDF file. In non-connected mode, each XML configuration is stored on the server for one day (for practical reasons). However, you are given the opportunity to manually delete it. Created in 2004, and continually improved, My-Config.com has established itself on the web as a free service to PC users running Windows and Linux operating systems. The service is designed to work with the most common Internet browsers (Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Safari).
