Sup ppl

Well, lastnight i was going out and had to sit in the bus for 30 minutes to pick up some friends. I was like "hey, great time to test drive my brand new Ipod  ". Was sitting in the bus, put some music on, and sit back and relax :) . After the 30 mintes when i was at the destination, switches of my Ipod. But, what was that? I looked at my BRAND NEW IPOD and there where scratshes on the display, becaus in the same pocket where i put my Ipod in the where some coins. I was like "MOTHER****ER &^%&*$%*& (<-piep)"

You can figure what the problem is, the scrathes. My question is, is there any way to remove those or can I buy a new casing or something?

Happened to me when i first had my ipod too, put it in my pocket with my keys accidently and it left a big ass scratch on the screen. Three months later it broke and i got a new one under warranty, so it all worked out fine. I know this doesnt help just thought i'd cheer you up with my good fortune

your ****** sorry.

there was some company that made iPod chemical for this reason to buff out scratches and stuff but it didn't work very well reviewers said it wasn't worth the money.

I suggest you buy a new iPod and this time get a case.

Now why in hell would be buy a new iPod just because of a scratch?

Really, what I've realized is that though the iPod is pretty, it's not a child. You can't constantly baby it. It's going to get scratched with time, and there's really no reason for a case. It's like if we lived in a bubble to keep us from ever getting sick.

In the famous words of Forrest Gump: **** happens

dip it into water, and return as defective :)

hahaha thats awesome

On a bit of a tangent here, when i returned my ipod as defective, they didnt even ask me for a receipt or nothing ito actually prove purchase. They just took my number and said we'll call you when we have a replacement. This is all at a genuine apple store. Got my new ipod with never having to show a receipt. Couldnt believe it.

    • No. The file manager is a lost cause. After all, its dev receives all the undeserved praise he could evre wish from Neowin, without having actually earned it. This has never lead to improvements.

    • I know I won't ever be using it to make my game. I'd rather pay humans.
    • Nah. For every indie dev that needs to create code for "stuff" or textures, it's a godsend enabler to possibly tackle a project that you may not otherwise. The end result and testing will tell the truth if everything works or doesn't, or a game is just mediocre slop, but now these tools are now there and it's the developer's duty to judge the outcome, and even more so for pro studios. And you gotta remember that they will be at an early stage.
