ok then heres the low down :( ............ get ready lol......

i used to go to a school called earlsheaton high school which is very near to my house, i had a crush on the lass i sat next to in english lol and after 4month she asked me out and i said yes, later that night we was on the phone and had arranged to meet at the bus stop with a few mates and from there go and do something

well a m8 of mine who also fancied her rung her up that morning and told her that i had canceled becuase i didnt have any money, i went down not knowing anything and was waiting for about half an hour then i called her and she told me this :( , by now i was fuming and went home, i saw my 'm8' walking down the street a few days later and so ran up 2 him and confronted him, he said he did it and so i smacked him in the face, bust his lip and nose but i left it at that turned around and walked off

ok so anyways i transfered to a different school called woodkirk high school which is 3miles away from my house and i get the bike there and back! i origanlly wanted to go to this school becuase the exam results was better but we applied to late, but becuase i have a younger sister who had been accepted into Woodkirk later on then i got transferred! now everything was ok other than me finding it hard to get to the right class on time! :p :)

now then about 3months ago i started getting abuse from the kids that walk past my house on there way home from earlsheaton high school as i rode past them on my bike, i ignored them but it got slightly more worse and worse :(

eventually the kids came in my garden and asked me for fights and started taking the mick out of my sister! i still ignored them ! I got in a fight with 3 lads whilst i was playing tennis with a mate of mine from woodkirk a weekend and one of them had a baseball bat, my m8 ran off but i didnt, (tbh im fairly hard in a 1 on 1 fight) and these lads was each a year younger than me so i thought i had a chance, i smacked 1 of the lads, 1 backed off and the other with the baseball bat tried hitting me but i blocked it and punched him in the face the ended up backing off and i won

but about 3weeks ago about 8 kids came in my garden on monday after i put my bike round the back and started saying go back to your posh school and calling me names trying to embaress me

i went inside, the next day there was about 15 lads and once again i went inside but this time they started throwing stones at my house and demanding that i go out so i went out but a passer by told them to go away so i went inside and they went but about 10mins later they was back  so i rung my dad, he said stay inside ill be as quick as i can, (he was at work, about 10minutes drive away) and my sister was still at school, my mum at work) so i waited patiently and he pulled up in car and they all legged it before he could do anything, then i got told off from my dad becuase i didnt do anything whilst they was throwing stones at my house and he said i would rather them damage you than the house :o

anyways next day came and after a hard day at school i was rode home, put my bike round the back and came in the house, there was about 8/9 lads and 2 lasses shouting for me 2 minutes later. then i heard a stone hit the window and i had remembered what my dad had said so i went outside and asked them why they are doing this and they said becuase i hit a lad called Joseph Stables about 3 years ago, i said that was ages ago and in the past and what has it gotta do with you, about 5 replied hes my cousin, so i thought they are making it all up and wont stop until they beat me up :( i went back in the house and heard another stone smash into the window so i opened the door went out and looked mad, one of the lads i remembered from that day he was with his mates, he was the 1 with the baseball bat  and he was calling me a ###### this second, i lost it and ran up to him *BANG* in his face  then they all jumped on me started kicking me whilst i was on the floor :( They said am i going to do it again and made me look really foolish infront of the lasses  i said yer i would do it again and again if i had to, i got even more badly kicked!

Anyways my mum pulled up becuase she finished work about 20mins after i get home and they all legged it, i finally got up and my school trousers and jumper were ripped

WHAT A DAY

Anyways i went to school with black eyes the next day and people was asking me what happened, i told them and they was like OMG, i got togethor a group of lads of about 7 of us, 1 is 17 and some of the lads in my year was big, to go out friday night, the next few days i just got people shouting haha you got twatted whilst i was riding past them on my bike, on thursday night i went to the co-op (small shop) for some sweets with 2 friendss and there was 9lads and 5 lasses this time, all from the year below me and as i came out one of the lads said why did you hit Timmy, he was the lad with the baseball bat who by this time i had hit about 3times in the face full on  and i just turned around and walked away with my friends and as i crossed over the road he jabbed me in the back of the head with his fists, i walked alot faster now and my mates wasnt with me any more..... help..... i went to the P.O and i was cornered :( bad choice, he went to punch me in the face again but i grabbed his hand, bent it backwards and headbutted him in face, once again they all jumped on me but i didnt fall down, my head was bleeding   and i began to try and do the best i could of walking into the shop, one of the lasses ran up 2 me dragged a few lads off me and poked me in the eyeball which believe me hurt really badly  I fell in the P.O and the man came out, they gave him abuse and so he phoned the police, the police came but didnt catch any1, they later took me home that night after questioning!

the next night came ( FRI NIGHT, the night some friends came up) and we wasnt doing anything wrong just walking down the street when a gang of around 10 lads walked past us but didnt say anythig just gave each over dirty looks then after they had gone a bit further down the road they started with us, so we asked em for a fight but they backed off, we went back up the road and they thought we pussied out so they chased us and we went to the co-op  which we ran into about another 15 lads and they was all 15/16 and this wasnt looking good, we was crapping them but only me and 3 m8s stook togethor the rest ran off, i got picked off first, but only got jabs to head and my back, then one of my m8s said leave him alone so they chased him and i was left there with 1 other person who im good friends with, we went to a shop for some help on some smaller streets and i called my dad, he picked me up and was ****ed off becuase i got battered :( he always won fights when he was young and he thinks im a dissapointment

the lad they was chasing got a broken arm and black eyes etc!

anyways that was 2weeks ago, about 1week ago the police came nocking on my door wanting to ask me questions!

it has turned out that some guy who lives near me has been critically beaten up with baseball bats and 1 of the main guys who was beating me up has been threatened and men have been ringing his mobile and he thinks its something to do with me and the police said they are hearing rumours about the 2 schools having a huge fight becuase of me :( i cannot go to the shop on my own anytime after 6pm becuase alot of lads really want to beat me up will be there :( also cannot go off my street becuase there are even more wanting me dead :( lol

anyways thats my life atm, im being bullied by aload of wa**ers becuase i moved schools i think is the biggest reason and i forgot to mention i have considerably the largest house on the street so they think im a snob!!

sorry about this but i had to get it off my chest :x

thanks alot if you read all of this lol :)

has any1 else got any experiences of bullying??? please share if you dont mind

Bluddy el, took me about an hour to read it :p.

Just get em back, if i kept getting jumped whenever i saw them by thereselves and just knock em clean out.

If you keep running away from them there gonna do it again, just stay with your mates, hopefully they'll back you up. Go about were you no people, or places you think people will stop em.

Having mates as cocky as 'Oggy_666' aint gonna help you either

Edit:\\ Semz no, if the police in the UK see anyone with a gun (Fake or not) They can shoot you for threating to use it, seriousley.

I read it, but it was quite hard. :p Maybe you should retype it a bit and use more punctuation and stuff..

Anyways, I never got bullied before, fortunately. But I'm quite large too, so anyone who messes around with me, gets a punch in the face :p Maybe that's why most people leave me alone :p Also, I'm a very good talker, so most of the time I can get there without violence :)

LOL well i didnt want to add this but my cousin who is 19 got involved and beat 1 of them up with a baseball bat :shifty: :ninja:  with 2 of his m8s, neighbours chased him smashed up his car, so he came back l8er and smashed up there car LOL,

this has frightened alot of them off but still i know if they happened to see me they would probably start unless they was on there own :(

They can shoot you for threating to use it, seriousley.

yeh true, dont get a gun lol. especially after what happened to that guy with the fake gun that got shot by the cops

Just get em back, if i kept getting jumped whenever i saw them by thereselves and just knock em clean out.

yeh it ****es me off how they act all cocky when with their friends then when they are on their own they are as quite as a mouse

my school is about half foreigners (arabics and asians mainly) and then the rest us aussies. we always get into big fights and stuff. when there is one of us walking and a whole group of them they say stuff like **** off skippy and stupid aussie and stuff like that. then when i say **** off you dirty arabs they start bashing me. so we just get em all later on that day lol

We have those kids at my school ( the Skaters) they are all the skateboarders... they jumped my and my friend one day so the next day in class i cornerd one of them and almost made him cry... they've kinda stoped being ###### now that the years have gone on and that they have just stuck to themselves... but everyonce and a while one of them has to be put back in his place. Im so glad everyone in my group is pretty big... there is not a single guy under 6 feet and most are 6'3 6'4

Haa, you gotta come to my school. It's seriousley one sided. It's mainly muslims, so is that area of bradford. Theres like 20 of us maybe who aren't muslims, It's like get in a fight with one of em and that's it :/

It was like that were i used to live aswell, exactley the same, except there was only me and another lad who weren't asian (Out of the kids).

Don't get me wrong, i've got nothing against them, my mum's married to an asian and my little sisters half cast, But they carry on with people too much :/

Maybe it's just the way i look at it, but it gets REALLY annoying when there in big groups and the way they act. Whenever we see half of the lads in my school on there own in town they look down straight away

yer quite a few of them are skaters tbh but there are also just alot of townies  theres the skatergroup just roaming the streets wanting to hurt me and the towny group that hang around by the shop (co-op) and if needs they would help each other to beat me up :(

Skaters are annoying, the way they just go round..skating LOL, there's loads were i live, i remember on Haloween all the skaters were after all the chav's, and i'd only just got to no people around here and thought we were all gonna get jumped

Nothing wrong with townies, though :p

hehe his dad sounds like my dad. but my dad jokes when he says stuff like that. i remember once when i was about 10 years old me and my cousin were riding around on our bike and there was the ice cream man that drives around in his van. any way we kept asking him for freebies and he jumped out the van with a hammer and my cousin rode off and i tried too but my chain snapped (what a time for the chain to snap) lol and he hit me on my shoulder with his hammer about 3 times it hurt so bad. when i got home i was crying and i told my dad so my dad loaded up the boot of his car with poles and drove off at full speed in pursuit of the ice cream man. we didnt see that ice cream man around anymore lol, and the next day my brother threw a brick through his window. but he got the wrong house lol

Quite seriously, though it's the easiest thing to do, phone the police when they start throwing stones at your house.

Firstly, it's trespassing to be on property they have no permission to be on, and second, they're vandalising for stone throwing.

There is no reason for that crap, and just shows that they are pathetic. No point stooping to their level and threatening them, just take them to the final base. Got mugged by someone who was at my school once - knife point and everything, phoned police, they got arrested. Sure, some people ask why I did it - if it was worth getting someone a criminal record, but the majority are in full favor of me doing so - why should I be stolen from, and allow the thief to get away with it (a lot was stolen, cards, money, mp3 player etc.). No-one should get away with stuff like that.

And agreed with the skaters. Sometimes I wonder if they're worse than chavs. I don't consider myself to be either stereotype, but those 'groupings' of sort cause all sorts of trouble. Skaters I just call 'Skater townies' (Skater chavs), they work in the same way.

Listen mate, I live in Liverpool and in Liverpool you have to stand up for yourself otherwise people will walk all over you..

My brother who is 18 was out one night with his mates about 3 - 4 weeks ago and got the Sh*t kicked out of him, he had to go to hospital. But the thing is, he stood up for himself. You may have to take some sh*t off these people but so fu**ing what. Your dad doesn't think you're a disappointment he just wants his son to have some balls.

I think you've done pretty good upto now, you have stood up for yourself more than once. My advice would be to be strong and never ever take any sh*t off anybody even if they are bigger and badder than you. They always act the cocky ones when there is more than one of them, get them on their own and they are absolute pussies.

Fighting is not the way to solve things, ideally the police should sort something out but I doubt this would even fix the problem.

Just have your mates with you if you ever go anywhere.. Just stick together, you've got to.

You'll be alright mate.

Reading that story, im pretty sure id be dead or camping next to the police station, if it was me...

I'm ridiculously lucky that i went to a school where bullying was almost non existant... 99% of the school was pretty much aussie anyway... The biggest fights consisted of:

You got a problem with me mate?

No mate.

Fair enough.

Beer mate?

Cheers mate.

Thats about as epic as it was for me. sigh.

    • Poll: Grand Theft Auto VI price predictions, cast your vote by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe After years of waiting, Rockstar will be solidifying the launch date of Grand Theft Auto VI with the launch of pre-orders next week. While the studio has confirmed a date for this occasion, it is yet to attach a price to the highly anticipated game. So let's see what our readers think it will cost at launch. The Grand Theft Auto VI pre-orders will kick off on June 25 for digital and physical editions. Unless some last-minute changes happen, the release date will be November 19, 2026, across Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. Unfortunately, there's still no information about a PC version from the developer or the publisher Take-Two. Now the question becomes, how much will Grand Theft Auto VI cost at launch? The game is predicted by some analysts to be the biggest launch of an entertainment product ever. With the amount of hype that has been built behind it and with ballooning development costs, Take-Two may price this Grand Theft Auto entry differently from other AAA titles. The current price of a AAA game is $69.99. That norm almost rose to $79.99 before calming down. But with such a massive release, Grand Theft Auto VI may be the game that pushes the boundary again. It's also possible that Take-Two keeps the price relatively low to increase the number of players that jump in early and keep them hooked on Grand Theft Auto Online to spend on microtransactions for years to come. Keep in mind that the below poll is asking for a prediction of the standard edition price, not a deluxe or any other special edition that Take-Two will introduce for additional benefits. Also, there is the chance of the company splitting up the campaign and online portions. If you think that will happen, put your vote on what you think will be the total cost of the two. Poll Poll: How much will Grand Theft Auto VI cost? $59.99 $69.99 $79.99 $89.99 $100 or more Submit Vote If you have a very specific prediction in mind, sound off in the comments below.

    • The Light of Life? We actually do glow till our Death, study finds by Sayan Sen Image by Rafael Rendon via Pexels A study by researchers at the University of Calgary has found that living organisms produce an extremely faint light known as ultraweak photon emission, and that this glow appears to drop significantly after death. The research was published in the Journal of Physical Chemistry in April 2025 and quickly drew widespread attention, leading to more than 200 news stories about the findings. Ultraweak photon emission (or UPE), sometimes called biophoton emission, refers to tiny amounts of light released by living cells as a result of normal biological activity. A photon is the basic particle of light, and researchers say every living system examined so far, including plants and animals, has been found to emit these photons. The glow is far too faint to be seen by the human eye. “I suppose it has a little to do with people being reminded of auras,” says Dr. Christoph Simon, PhD, one of the authors of the study and a professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy in the Faculty of Science. “It is a fact that living beings glow. It’s a very weak glow, but it’s there and visible with very sensitive cameras.” According to the study, the light involved is extremely weak, ranging from 10 to 1,000 photons per square centimetre per second across a spectral range of 200 to 1,000 nanometres. For comparison, a nanometre is one-billionth of a metre and is commonly used to measure wavelengths of light. Detecting emissions at such low levels requires highly specialized equipment. To study the phenomenon, researchers used electron-multiplying charge-coupled device (EMCCD) and charge-coupled device (CCD) cameras. These imaging systems are designed to detect extremely small amounts of light, including individual photons, while minimizing background noise. The technology allowed researchers to capture signals that would otherwise be impossible to observe. The team worked with the Human Health Therapeutics Research Centre at the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) in Ottawa to examine photon emissions in mice. Researchers took two-hour exposure images of the animals before and after death and compared the results. “We saw that the level of light that they emit – this biophoton glow – is distinctly different between living and dead animals,” says Dr. Daniel Oblak, PhD, an associate professor in Physics and Astronomy and the corresponding author of the study. The images showed a clear decrease in photon emissions after death across the entire body of each mouse. According to the researchers, this provided direct evidence that living and dead tissue produce different levels of ultraweak photon emission. “It’s a very small amount and it’s, of course, very tricky to detect,” Oblak says. The study grew out of discussions between Simon, whose research interests include quantum biology, and Oblak, whose work focuses on detecting light for quantum communication experiments. Quantum biology is a field that explores whether processes described by quantum physics, which studies matter and energy at very small scales, may also play a role in living systems. “Since I work as a quantum physicist on light detection for quantum communication, I thought that experimentally we have a lot of the tools to be able to detect the light,” Oblak explains. The researchers also investigated UPE in plants and found that the light changed in response to stress. When plants were exposed to higher temperatures or physically injured, their photon emissions increased. Chemical treatments also affected the glow. Among the substances tested, the local anesthetic benzocaine produced the strongest emission response when applied to injured plant tissue. These findings suggest that ultraweak photon emission is closely linked to biochemical and metabolic activity inside living organisms. Metabolism refers to the chemical reactions that allow cells and organisms to stay alive and function. Because these reactions change when an organism experiences stress, injury or disease, researchers believe UPE may provide a way to monitor those changes. The researchers stress that the glow is a physical and biological phenomenon, not a metaphysical one. Oblak says more research is needed to understand exactly how the light is produced and what information it may reveal about the condition of living tissue. “We must understand what that is to figure out what’s happening,” he says. “If we can understand how that relates to certain influences on the body – stress, diseases – then that could be used as a diagnostic tool.” The researchers believe the technique could eventually help scientists study health and disease without invasive procedures. Because UPE can be measured without adding dyes, markers or labels, it may offer a way to monitor whether tissue is healthy, damaged or alive. In plants, it could help researchers better understand how organisms respond to injury, heat and other forms of stress. While the work is still in its early stages, the study demonstrates that ultraweak photon emission imaging can provide a non-invasive and label-free way to observe biological activity. Researchers say the approach could become a useful tool for studying vitality, stress responses and other important processes in both animals and plants.
