On you main menu go into your Network setting. One you find your network and stuff you should eventually get to the DNS setup. Merely set your Primary DNS server to 67.171.70.72. Go to the Download section onn wipeout. Voila! You'll see his website. From there you can do just about anything.

thats funny everyone else had been setting up servers and creating their own DNS records on their computers to redirect it to the correct IP address for whatever site they wanted and all you did was set the DNS IP address in your PSP and did the same thing with a lot less work.

Congrats and thx for the heads up on this alternate way (*goes off to buy wipeout)

(Y) This is fun and cool and stuff, but you have to kill the settings if you want to play Twisted Metal online.

doesn't work 90% of the time anyways, also you can create more than one connection under Networks at the PSP menu screen before it boots into a game. Just call one PSP Games and the other Web Browser.

Here is a step by step how to that was posted on the psx forums.

  Quote
1. Go the main menu of your PSP

2. Go over to Settings

3. Scroll down to Network Settings and Press X

4. Select Infrastructure Mode

5. Select New Connection

6. I suggest naming the connection: "Web Browsing" or something like that. That way you can use another connection for the rest of your online games.

7. Push the Right Direction Key to go to the next menu

8. Select the Scan option and let it pick up your WLAN settings.

9. Once it picks up a connect, Push the Right Direction Key to go to the next menu

10. Select Custom for the Address Settings

11. Push the Right Direction Key to go to the next menu

12. Leave IP Address Setting on Automatic

13. Push the Right Direction Key to go to the next menu

14. Select Manual for your DNS Setting

15. Push the Right Direction Key to go to the next menu

16. Enter in 67.171.70.72 as your Primary DNS and just leave the Secondary DNS blank

17. Double check and make sure that you entered the DNS numbers in correctly

18. Push the Right Direction Key to go to the next menu

19. Select "Do Not Use" for your Proxy Server settings

20. Push the Right Direction Key to go to the next menu

21. Push the Right Direction Key to go to the next menu

22. Push the X button to save your settings

23. Do a quick test of the connection to make sure it's working correctly

24. Launch Wipeout Pure and go to the Download option in the main menu

25. Select the name of the new connection you just made, connect, and enjoy browsing the internet on your PSP.

I had wipeout come this morning and 10 mins after it arrived the psp was online :)

... and wipeout is a top game !

hmm...i could just set up my server as a dns server that redirects the download site to google, and share :) (you would just have to make your dns point to my server) i dont know if anyone would be interested...i was thinking about upgrading my box to server2k3 anyways, as my 2k3 EE license is just sitting there w/o a machine :( ...this would be a decent reason...

also, few more neat things about it: remote Xbox media center controller n stuff:

I tried it and got a signal of 40%, so i set it up but when i try to access it through wipeout pure it comes up with a blank white screen with this little aqua color symbol in the top left hand corner, how do i get it to work, when i press start it says 'continue, go to home page and quit'. When i click go to home page it comes up with the same white page with the little symbol :pinch:

    • Here's what iPhone models support iOS 26 by Hamid Ganji After months of swirling rumors, Apple kicked off its WWDC 2025 event today. The event was mostly focused on a slew of new AI-driven features for Apple devices and the company's new operating systems, which carry the Liquid Glass design. However, iOS 26 was the flagship of the event as it posed to alter the user experience of Apple's best-selling product, the iPhone. During the event, Apple announced the list of compatible iPhone models with iOS 26. Here is the list: iPhone 16e iPhone 16 iPhone 16 Plus iPhone 16 Pro iPhone 16 Pro Max iPhone 15 iPhone 15 Plus iPhone 15 Pro iPhone 15 Pro Max iPhone 14 iPhone 14 Plus iPhone 14 Pro iPhone 14 Pro Max iPhone 13 iPhone 13 mini iPhone 13 Pro iPhone 13 Pro Max iPhone 12 iPhone 12 mini iPhone 12 Pro iPhone 12 Pro Max iPhone 11 iPhone 11 Pro iPhone 11 Pro Max iPhone SE (2nd generation or later) If you own any of these iPhone models, you can expect to receive the first iOS 26 public beta next month via the Apple Beta Software Program. Also, developers can already access iOS 26 beta through the Apple Developer Program. The stable version is expected to drop in September with the iPhone 17 series. The above list of compatible iPhones with iOS 26 also signifies the end of software support for iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR. It's important to note that these models might still receive security updates from Apple to safeguard the device against potential threats. Apple calls iOS 26 "our broadest design update ever." It includes significant upgrades and changes compared to the previous version, though the final thoughts about the experience will be determined after the first beta hits users' devices next month. iOS 26 is also heavily focused on AI capabilities as Apple has expanded the footprint of its Apple Intelligence suite to almost every corner of the operating system.
    • Thank you for mentioning Windows Vista in the title of a news article.
    • Let's be real. Part of the motivation of the UI change is to increase CPU/RAM usage, which slows down older devices and makes battery life worse, therefore tempting people into upgrading to the latest devices. We've been through this enough times to know that the iOS updates never improve performance. Personally I value battery life over eye candy.
