right. and every time may got the ball in the lane he ran someone over, but thats not a foul either right?

and then don't get me started about augustine, he just looked at UNC players and had 5 fouls called on him. not a single one was evern defending a shot. this is pathetic.

Augustines fouls was not necessarily his fault..but he was there at the wrong place and time. They were fouls...just admit it. Fouls dont have to be a shooting foul..

they were not fouls, if they were fouls, they woulda been called at the other end, and they obviously weren't. how many times did powerll get hacked when he caught that rebound under the rim? not a single whistle.

the sad thing is, everyone calling "illegal screens" only noticed it when the biggest tarheel fan in the nation billy packer started crying about it. the same billy packer who counted three magical steps in the UNC vs. Villanova game that gave UNC the free win there as well. 1 maybe 2 of those screens were illegal, but packer made it out to sound like every single screen being set was.

but he was there at the wrong place and time.

Now THAT'S listening to Packer too much. I'm pretty sure he said that exact line, or one of the other guys. lol. I agree they didnt need to call those fouls but hey just look at my other posts. It came down to too many missed 3s for the Illini.

I won the Pick Em

im happy, but not happy if you know what i mean

think i'll jump up to 11th. If Arizona had played 3 more minutes instead of fantasizing about the final four, I would have finished in the top 10. (probably would have messed up enough backets for a top 5)

dang it yahoo

Who are the losers voting for UNC AFTER the game is over? LOL. That vote tally had a 5-6 increase for UNC since the game ended

I just now voted, but I had UNC picked. Afterall, I AM from Raleigh, NC ;)

It's just too bad OU couldn't do better since that's where I actually go to school. Oh well, at least UNC helped keep us from holding a record we didn't want to hold haha.

1st congrats to NC

I have to agree that the officials sucked  for both teams though. The difference between the two teams was May would plow down any person in his way (like Shaq) but nothing was ever called except for fouls against the Illini and Illini go lucky with no calls for all those screens but UNC gain way too much of an advantage on their parts with getting the Illini in foul trouble and that made the Illini change their defense in the 2nd half.

If fouls were called correctly, the Illini win by at least 8 but there's no what should of beens in sports :(
