Player and it has worked flawlessly. It burns virtually onto every DVD type and together with Alcohol 120% or Nero the results are magnificent i truley recomend this burner simply because of the price for such a good piece of equipment. Only side-effect to this hardware is its max regular burn is 32x and max cd-read is 40x Other than that its simply outstanding. Im pretty sure thats all the info you need. If you need more pm or ask here. The Link to the Philips-DVP 642 DivX Player Review Hope you like it. Roomiestdruid
I love you. :) Thanks for the quick reply! I guess the only question I have is this; do DVDs reach and maintain the advertised 16x speed for a normal write? Other than that, I was already pretty much sold on this drive, just wanted to see if anyone had any experience with it. EZRecovery
Pioneer has very good DVD burners. I own DVR-A06 (DVR-106) at the moment, and it is a good drive. I wish there was a firmware for the A06 for dual layer capability. ollie_webbuk
Heh, I say buy the NEC 3520A over this anyday. It's more unlockable, mine writes disks at double the speed they are rated (not 16x ones, obviously). Like it writes 8x disks at 16x.
