yep i chose it because I think it looks nicer. (of course the price factor applies)

I already have an iMac and Mac mini and my primary pc is a Toshiba P20 Dual processor.

THis one is for trips and stuff.

I really think it looks much nicer anyway.

I was told they'd send me Tiger if it's released this month for free.

Thats great since i'll install it on my other pc's wooo

looks nicer?...:p....nah....I love the looks of my PB...but meh....it's up to you...anyways...congrads...:)..and you really have a lot of money don't you?....

But I do have a question though...I personally own a 15inch PB but the thing is, I always wanted to go 12inch because I basically carry it around with me everyday to classes and such, but I never had the guts to convert to 12inch because I'm think the screen is way too small and I'll have trouble actually reading what is on the screen...:p...and I'm wondering...how much difference is there between your iBook 12inch and your iMac? (which I would assum is 17inch or 20inch...)

lol why do people think I have so much?

I save up and buy stuff when I see something I like.

Plus I basically do this, buy something i like, say a iBook. I sell mine as soon as a new one is out

and pay the difference.

So I basically end up getting new stuff for cheaper. (like paying for an upgrade)

Trust me though, I'm wasting TOO much money. If I was back home, I'd be a millionaire (just joking BTW), England is too expensive.

edit:

I think it's fine to be honest.

My Mac mini has a 14inch and it feels a bit small (because I have a 17 wide inch laptop)

but the 12 inch is much better than I thought.

It's the keyboard that's a bit cramped (i dont like the fact that the shift button is small (perhaps thats on all iBooks))

It feels good to be honest. I say make the conversion. Fonts look fin, res is nice, only thing you might be disappointed with is that if you use widgets, it looks a bit crowded.

thanks for the nice words guys, just makes me feel more greatfull for having one.

@marduk, i guranatee using one and actually owning one are totally different experiences.

The ibook (with cheapest specs comes to 650 or something) i think it's worth it in my opinion.

To anyone considering buying one, I highly recommend it.

It's sweet, and sexy, but it's kind of like a PSP, you dont want it to get scratched.

I'll never understand this wild anticipation of the opening of a new Mac many experience, ah well my loss I guess, although i've never really used one to be honest, so maybe thats why I don't understand it, they do look sexy however.

@tiag, well I would if I was filthy rich and my girlfriend wouldn't scream at me to death for wasting money :p

@huy, the sleep is a tuccsano iBook sleeve (from the apple store) looks nice and says made in italy. That sticked says Press and Hold to eject cd. Guess people were having a hard time finding it. Actually when I saw it I was like. Wow, I just touch the corner! I misunderstood :p

    • The level of stupidity at Google and Microsoft is beyond belief. All they are doing by killing this is forcing people to jump over to Firefox and ditch them all together, therefore giving Firefox the market boost it needs to finally crush them all in the end.
