Edit: Airport card not Express.

I hope I am not being too generic in the post, but if you don't get your answer taken care of here. Call Apple Care. They'll help you the best they can on getting in to run with a Linksys network. They helped me when I was new to the platform.

find out what IP set your router uses it may use 10.x.x.x or 192.x.x.x or so on.

Find out which it does by reading its manual! (if you cannot find the manual go to there online website they always have the manual in a downloadable .pdf format!) once you know what the router requires go to system preferences on your mac -> Network -> Airport card -> IP / TCP -> Set Manually

Type in the details, alternative if you have another computer that works fine on the network copy its IP and all its settings but change the last digit for instance the computer you will copy is 192.1.1.1 make yours 192.1.1.2 (change the last digit) Mac sure you give the Macintosh the correct network KEY for your encryption and if you are using MAC address filtering that you know your computers MAC address and have entered it into the router properly.
