i've a question:

for some reasons, my account can't use anymore the shared folders. if i login with a second acount, it works...

there is maybe any setting that should be reset? i tried both patched and unpatched wml 8, but always the sharing folders disappear on my first account :(

Great work on A-Patch! Would it be possible to add an option for hiding WLM from the taskbar? I like to leave my contact list open, but don't really care for it to show on the taskbar at all times.

Great release, I have but one problem. I know now that it is for sure a-patch that causes this problem. Sometimes, with big groups, the first user reverst to display name when I have everyone on first and last name. I will post my settings file as I have no clue what causes this.

I would like to ask you a favour, if the following options could be implemented into a-patch:

(white box) is just for privacy purposes

(blue box) expand the search box to full size as in version 7

(red box) delete and move things around

Great work as usual ahmz055! I'm having a slight problem however. After a-patching, I can't talk to anyone, I get the following error:

We were unable to start a conversation with ... You may want to try again.

slimy, you need to un-install Messenger completely, remove any files left in the MSN Messenger directory. Then install Messenger and apply A-Patch.

Mess patch is way better than a patch

I have to disagree. I used to use the mess patch and I have to say that A-patch is far superior. One feature I love is that I can save the options I choose to a file so I can load em up on multiple computers (kudos for that option).

Also, I hate the mess site. It's a mess (pardon the pun). I can never find anything on that stupid site.

Not to keep this debate going here where it doesn't belong, but another definite winner feature of Apatch is simply, it'll be 3 months before Mess patch has a new one out.
