When I switched, you could say my training wheels was a eMac, then I worked up to the iMac G5 which I own now. They also get people to buy the bigger, better Mac's in the end. I started on an iMac G4 myself for a personal system (not going to count really all those 68K and early PPC Mac's I used during HS), and then I went to a PowerBook. :) Bigger and better, lol.
