nuggetman, I wasn't going to say anything until someone else mentioned it. I don't find it hideous but I do find it too busy. Change the "All Programs" menu back, make the shell style and of course finish the black and orange theme and you have a winner. Just an opinion arhra, in an ocean of them.

it's not to bad, a lot more cluttered now with that design and the seperator needs to be chnaged instead of that empty white space. I wouldn't go as far as saying it's hideous.

Maximus -- I absolutely love this theme. I just can't stand that new start menu look.

well, i've got the main coloursheme pretty almost finished, except the grouped tasks menus, so i've uploaded the latest version here. i've also included the cursors (slightly different to the ones i posted a shot of, i've been tweaking them a bit).

So, if you're experienced with litestep and you're interested in testing it out, post here to let me know, i'll get in touch and send you a copy. don't email me or pm me about it, since i don't check them very often, and i'm not likely to notice. or you can hop on irc and get in touch with me there (unless my connection dies, i should be idling in various channels on opn).

yes!!!!!!!!!!! finally a new version!!! i've uploaded the new version here if it isn't a big problem arhra (for a mirror)

also.... arhra i would LOVE to try out the litestep theme!!! i wanna test it LOL... i'll try to get to you on irc too...

yeah, the programs menu doesn't work that well... :ermm:

i was trying to make it look something like the popup for hte litestep theme:

lspopup.gif

as you can obviously tell, i didn't quite pull it off :ermm:

anyway, i've completely reworked the programs menu, and changed some fonts and stuff, and while i was using explorer to test stuff out, it struck me that the windows flag on the start button really was truly fugly, so i've gone for a custom start button again...

so anyway, updated version, with new, much more pleasant programs menu, available here

[edit] damnit. forgot to include a font when i uploaded it.... so if you downloaded it, and it doesn't include dungeon.ttf (and you don't already have it), you'll have to redownload... sorry :ermm: [/edit]

[edit again] d'oh. didn't even notice that i ****ed the link up... and i fixed the image too. [/edit]

    • You are clueless. The updates are done in the background so the next time you open Edge the updates are applied automatically. There is no need to close all your tabs. Just keep browsing like you normally do. Clearly you don't use Edge and are just one of those haters that complain for the sake of complaining.
    • I don't get this David. Can you explain it please.
