according to his/her profile, AIM name is "arhrax0r". I have tried contacting on AIM though and get no response (could be that another family member is using the computer when I try). if anyone else wants to give it a go, go ahead. i loved this theme when it was in it's prime, and it is definitely one of the classics. i would love to see someone finish up the black/orange.

sorry to resurrect this thread, but if anyone had this (rhodium edge version 2 beta - not the version 1 that everyone and their mother has that was indicated in the previous post) I would be incredibly grateful if you could send it to me, I think my copy was lost in a format :(

PLEASE!

The theme should be in your mailbox by now. :alien:

Anyone needs a copy of this great theme too?

The orange theme doesn't seem to work for me I still see the blue in the taskbar.

I would appreciate it if you reuploaded the one you have because I think the orange theme is awesome.

I never uploaded anything, that's a link to as far as Arhra got. I'm not going to upload the one I finished.

OMG why not ? Like he would care,

obviously he hasn't checked neowin in months.

Call it something else if you like .....

This is what sucks about Neowin, instead of the community helping each other, it's more about showing off

and then being all like "no, can't upload, the artist might be offended etc etc."

I'll probably get a warning for even saying this too ....

I aint gonna warn ya :p

And this is nothing to do with Neowin, this is to do with me. I respect an authors wishes when they say they don't want their work to be modified and redistributed.

I'm attempting to contact Arhra at the moment so don't despair, besides, it's not completely finished and some parts look odd. I'm not one for releasing beta themes ;)

Watch this space.

OK

::hopeful::

The orange and black theme would rock ... I think alot of people had wished that it had been

finished back in the summer

On the other hand ... maybe someone could start a whole new orange and black theme

if arhra :o bought the farm in the real world or something...

    • Well I've done a grand total of nothing, and it now clocks between 2010mhz and 1995mhz (stock is 1710mhz) and hovers around 80c, warmer than it used to, but tolerable clocks seem to have returned. Thanks for all the advice on this thread. Will review the evidence and make a choice.

    • I really wonder if this has to do with the built in VPN or "private DNS" of browsers that trip up legal requirements like cookie consent and Cloudflare (to avoid all the botnet attacks we get). And BTW some botnets still manage to get past Cloudflare, we are constantly having to tweak it to block malicious traffic that ultimately cause a DDoS.
