TD Background keeps repeating!

Hey I'm trying to make my flash portal better and one problem I ran into was that the td background attribute kept repeating. I know it's supposed to, but its repeating too much! Look at the blocks on this page, you can the image runs off a bit:

I tried making the background image smaller in height, but i dont tihnk it made any difference. You can View the source of the page if your wondering how the code looks.

Any ideas, suggestions, help? I heard theres a way i can fix this in css. thanks guys.

What about googling "css background repeat"?

just set 'background-repeat:no-repeat' in the TD CSS properties, namely

I easily get angry about things one could easily find in google but get asked in a forum. Hope it worked.

exactly..but if you had read my post, you wouldve found out that, that's what I'm not looking for. And yes i already had/have tried googling it.

umm, sorry if this sounds obvious/makes me sounds like a complete idiot, but I think that if you make the background graphic 1px wide, or a common denominator of the width of the TD tag, your problem might be solved.

This was probably no help, but I tried :D
