Hi! Anyone know about the NAB 2005? Apple's gonna do a Keynote there, live in Las Vegas today.

This is the blog of a french guy who's at the conference today and he said on his blog that Apple's stand was covered with black sheets  So there's mistery around that stand ;) Something important to be announced hopefully!

Thanks for the link.

A lot of people are saying that today will just be for Software Updates, most people think any updates to Apple's product line will occur on Monday or Tuesday.

I am hoping for an updated iMac G5 20", hopefully a speed bump and a better video card and that will ensure my order. That, coupled with Tiger, will make me a very happy man!

From what I've heard the PowerMac is a near certainty for an update at NAB.

The iMac update I am so hoping for as I want one soonish, if it isn't announced at NAB then I can't wait until the Keynote this summer so I may have to buy one before then.

C'mon Apple, don't let us down!

EDIT

Here is the live feed of that French Site translated into English.

Hope this works:-

they need cheaper widescreen displays...

people buying mac mini's probably can't justify 1000$ for a 20".

Apple needs 300$ 15.4 widescreen (1280x854) and a 450$ 17" display (1440x900)... someday :/

There might not be a huge demand... but put 2 15.4" screens together and you would have a killer display setup...

one iste i went to, cant remember because i visit 4 rumor sites.. maybe apple insider. suggested teh 26th which is a tuesday, next week. i can only hope. i want a new iMac with 128mb graphics.

one thing that im curious about.. the rumor stars that a 9600 card would be put in. the pwoermacs come with 9600XTs as options.. the 5200 is ultra edition so wouldnt it make sense that the 9600 int he iMac would be an XT? that is if they do put that in.

    • Cooler Master MasterFrame 600 PC case is now 33% off on Amazon by Ivan Jenic The Cooler Master MasterFrame 600 is currently $109.99 on Amazon, down from its original $164.99 list price. That's 33% off and $55 saved on this premium aluminum mid-tower case with a modular design. If you're upgrading your PC case and want something that doesn't force you into a rigid layout, the MasterFrame 600 is worth a look. The case is built around the Cooler Master's FreeForm 2.0 platform, which lets you reconfigure the internal structure according to your hardware. Magnetic side panels allow for straightforward adjustments, and the case supports everything from Mini-ITX to E-ATX motherboards without compromise. There's also generous cooling headroom. Four pre-installed PWM fans handle airflow out of the box. GPU clearance goes up to 410mm, and the case supports radiators up to 420mm with room for three simultaneously. Truth be told, this might not be the prettiest case on the market, but it’s highly functional. The aluminum construction keeps the whole thing lightweight despite its size, and the finish looks noticeably better than the plastic mid-towers competing at this price point. If you want a serious, flexible case that prioritizes function over flashy aesthetics like RGB lighting, the MasterFrame 600 delivers at a reasonable price.
