OK, right click on the tabs bar and click on customize, then click the toolbars tab.

Check the box next to status bar and change the placement to top.

Now with the customisation box open drag the everything you want from the old address bar to the status bar.

Then uncheck the box next to address bar.

Spoke too soon. I would also like to keep the statusbar at the bottom. How would I do that?

..someone had to.

Here's a quick tip for those that can't seem to get the menubar to disappear with ctrl+F11 .... Go to tools .. preferences ... advanced ... shortcuts ... keyboard setup (below mouse gestures setup) ... click edit ... go about 40% of the way down to where the "F11 Ctrl" is mapped ... remap this key to "Enable Menu Bar | Disable Menu Bar" and you can hide your menubar.

Here's mine...

You are either ignorant, and idiot, or both.

(and please don't tell me this is a personal attack when the quoted text was a personal attack on a much larger scale, and wasn't censored)

There are a couple of ways you can still keep the status bar on the bottom depending on which bars you use.

If you dont use the personal bar then sub the status bar for personal bar in my method, or you could drag the statusbar field from the statusbar to the old address bar, or you could enable the main bar and remove the icons from it and drag the address bar there.

Basically you can have anything on any bar (except for the tabs which need to be on the tab bar)

I have the statusbar field next to my address bar since there is a load of wasted space to on the address bar.

Or you could type f11 in the search box at the top and remove the part in red from the left hand part. Platform Unix, F11 alt
