I won't go into details but after a lot of Acura dealership problems and their unfulfilled promises, after 2 months of waiting, I lost my patience and cancelled my '05 Acura TL.

I was really frustrated with the whole experience and finally said "**** it", I'm going for Audi. After an amazing and extremely positive experience at North Scottsdale Audi dealership in AZ (owned by United Auto Group), I finally ordered a new Oyster Grey/Black interior Audi A6 3.2L Quattro with DVD Nav, convenience package, sport package, xm radio, voice recognition and parktronic.

I have to say, from the first moment I sat in this car it was obvious, Audi for life. God this car is truly a perfection. I am so happy. 5 more days until I get the car and it seems like forever.

I still can't believe that I'll be driving this really soon:

If you can afford it, go for it, it's worth every penny.

For those who are interested this is the deal I got:

$5k down (to lower the payments even more) 36months/15k miles = $640 a month with tax included.

Just so you know you have one jealous little **** up here in the northeast :( Currently driving a Jetta and thats about as close to an Audi I'll get :p Really eyeing the A4 quattro (ya know, because of the snow, ya ya, the snow) but doubt that would become a reality with the way things are going.

Buy yah that is one sick looking A6. THey really improved on the body style. Should have gone for the RS6 instead hehehehehe.

Congrats and if you ever plan on a drive down to Cape Cod let me know ;)

No more German cars for me. Yeah sure, they drive great, handle superbly, and the ride is as smooth as silk, but the expense of upkeep and repairs just isn't worth it. If you used the maintenance schedule for cars like Mercedes, BMW, etc. on any other car, they'd last just as long. Nope, we sold our 7 series bimmer earlier this year and although I must admit that it was the best driving, best handling, most comfortable car we've had (and we've had many), I don't miss forking out the money to maintain it and fix it when something broke.

German cars are the most unreliable cars. I agree the germans make a great car, but if it needs to be in the shop all the time then whats the point. I am sticking with japanese.

I don't think I could lease a car for that kind of money. It's like OK I'll buy it but I'll give it back to you in a few months.

You could buy a nice car and have a pmt less than that I think. But then again I don't know what that thing retails for. Probably too much. :)

It's looks pretty cool though. Post real pics when you get it.

Awesome car!! You have definitely made a wise choice going w/ the Audi. Can't see how you would ever be disappointed.

The performance and luxury you get from German cars is absolutely worth it.

Especially the Audi.. it has always been class-leading in interior and exterior design.

I hope to someday have a car like that.

    • In what way is any of what I said incorrect? To install an update you need to close all browser instances, upping it from once a month to once a fortnight is an inconvenience for users. Particularly when updates don't offer functionality that users want (notably copilot). Security updates should come as they are needed, not on a release schedule
