Users Having Same IP Addresses

for the last few weeks i am having this weird problem. If two guys are posting from Usa (any state) they are having same IP address. If two guys are posting from Pakistan they are having same IP addresses.

i have an IP TRacking mod installed and when i run that mod to check MULTIUSERS it doesnt show any same IP's addresses there. The mod is working fine but there is something wrong with the forum files.

The people are probably on LAN's... You'll only log their WAN IP...

Maybe it's getting the "proxy" IP addresses such as all ntl users in manchester will probably have 62. when there actual ip could be anything and certainly are not the same!

I'm sure someone will list the 2 php codes below, one for REAL IP (unique) and one for PROXY IP so you may want to look at your coding and alter it if possible.

well i am in Pakistan and i just gave example of Usa in general.

this weired thing started few weeks back. i have been watching the Ip addresses at my forum for the past four years now and i never say anything like this in four years. there are no proxy no nothing here in Pakistan.

The IP TRACKING MOD gives me the right IP address of the user but the forum's built in WHO IS ONLINE system gives me wrong IP ADDRESSES.
