I tried a few from there. Most of them work fine, but the ImageShack tool and the GMail checker don't want to launch. Have you tried them?

It figures that the two I most wanted don't work.

I haven't tried it, but when I do, I'll tell you if it works here.

edit: Just tried it, same problem as the other two. They will add themselves to the list of available widgets, but won't launch. I wonder what is wrong with them? I thought at first that it might be a permissions problem, but everything appears fine there.

Did anyone notice when you try clicking on get more widgets it takes you to a pass protected section of the site? Your apple user ID works on that but it just says comming soon. So im guessing if you have a Tester ID it will take you to more widgets.

Thanks you two! Time to start building up a libray of tiger bookmarks. I have a small question that lately begun to bug me. With Dashboard, I know one hits F11 to pull up all widgets, ala expose of Konfab's kexpose, but what about widgets like the iTunes controller, widgets that would be best used if they were on the level of the desktop, not accessabe ONLY via the dashboard key? Will the behave like that, or will I have to resort to using Konfab to have persistent widgets that remain visible whilst I use other apps?

Actually, it's F12 by default (F11 is Expose's "everything off the screen" key). No, you can't have Dashboard Widgets on your desktop all the time like Konfabulator.

Nope, even with a full ADC membership you still get the "coming soon" page.

If anything I'm more pleased with the dashboard method considering the size of most widgets.

    • Thanks for liking it! 😊 That's Arch Linux with Gnome.
    • LOL. Can't even quote and edit a comment correctly. Figures you're a Linux user.
    • It won't perform hugely better than the 3080 unless you're VRAM limited in games. Have you tried putting new thermal pads on them 3080 and giving it a good clean to see if you can regain your temps and overclock?
