    • No, this forum had already turned into an opera area. Look, some threads even don't mention "Opera" in titles when they are actually asking about Opera.

    • no, whole page filled with opera topics was all an illusion.

I know that! That's why you should try extra hard to make sure your choices are meaningful in the first place.

Patience is a virtue young grasshopper. :)

ur opinions ?

We need subforum for Opera topics and questions!

Maybe. But then we need a khtml (Safari, Omniweb, Shiira, Konqueror...) sub-forum as well!

This is stupid reason. Opera more more popular than other exotic browser like Safari, Konquerror etc. There many topics about Opera but there no one about Omniweb and other exotic.

I strongly agree. Opera is one another popular browser and it would make sense to make a sub-forum for it. Look at all the Opera topics in the Web Browser Dicussion forum talking about Opera.

Neowin Staff, it's your call, but I think it's a great idea to keep browser discussion tidy. Make it easier for people to search for help on a particular browser.

I would like to see the inclusion of a subforum for Opera, though I also agree with what I'm sure the official response will be (That this influx of threads is to be expected because of the new release, in a month or two the Opera topic will be no more popular than normal)

you are right. in a coupld of weeks, the emphasis will drop as normal

we got more posts because of new version 8, that's all

Agreed on that, but still Opera is good browser and deserves to have his own sub-forum.

Otherwise the official Opera forums are a better place to go with problems

Only if KHTML (Safari, OmniWeb, and all those other awesome browsers) gets its own sub-forum. ;)

I disagree.

If you look at Web Browser section, most of threads are about Opera, reflecting its increasing popularity.

On the other hand, I can't find a single thread about KTHML or so-called "awesome browsers", and it would be unnecessary clutter and waste of space if subforum for those browsers was made.

It's about time mods can't just answer "Opera isn't popular enough" and get away, because Opera apparently IS a popular browser now.

ain't gonna happen

Why not? I've been using the paid for version for 2 days now :ninja: and I must say that I'm really impressed with the speed and functionalty. I think firefox is gonna take a back seat on my PC for a while.

    • Calling it TDS doesn’t answer the question: why did this site skip prior UFC games but review this one, at this exact political moment?
    • Its the timing of its release, mixed with the timing of the review mixed with the timing of the event, when this site never reviewed previous iterations of this game that I could find.
    • Instagram just got "a long-requested feature" by Hamid Ganji Instagram has finally added a new feature that has been "long-requested" and it allows users to write an individual caption for each image or video in a carousel. The feature will start rolling out this week, and it’ll be available to all users. Previously, Instagram only allowed a single caption for all regular posts and carousels. This made it harder for content creators to describe every scene in a carousel and often forced them to write longer captions. However, with this new feature, every slide in a carousel can have its own caption, which can be viewed by swiping left or right. To use the feature, when writing a caption for your post, select “Multiple captions” from the dropdown menu in the caption area. You can then write unique captions for each slide. By swiping through the carousel and selecting individual slides, a dedicated space for writing captions will appear. Instagram says the feature will help audiences get the right context at the right moment. The ability to assign a unique caption to each slide in a carousel could be particularly useful for content creators and brands on the platform. Instagram says the feature will begin rolling out this week. The new feature appears to have been well received by Instagram users, many of whom have been requesting it for a long time. However, users are now asking for additional features, such as the ability to add new slides to a carousel after it has been published. Instagram has been introducing several useful features lately, but users who want access to additional tools and perks can subscribe to the platform’s Instagram Plus offering. Priced at $3.99 per month, Instagram Plus includes exclusive features such as 48-hour Stories, more detailed post analytics, and the ability to tailor posts or Stories to specific audiences. The subscription includes 11 new features in total.
