It's about time IMO. After all, it's a different core and ppl may have distinct problems form IE or Mozilla. Look at the posts out there, all Opera. But never more sub forums.

I don't use Opera but it's okay to have a Opera subforum. :yes:

Web Browser Discussion is used for general/global questions, and the sub-forums for browser specific question.

Simple as that.

well, duh! Opera released a major update, dont you kinda expect that the forum might be swamped with new users asking about it? give it another month and see if theres still momentum.

I don't think it's absolutely necessary. I use Opera and if I want to make a post about it, I have no problem posting in this forum. Opera isn't as popular as FF or MSIE anyway.

As much as I hate to admit it, I don't think the recent influx of opera threads will last. If you look at most of the threads they are from people asking how to configure opera to be more like firefox, I think I have only seen a handful of threads from people with major technical problems with opera.

I guess the opera guys & gals have done such a good job making it that not a lot of people are having major problems with it.

I think that the forum should just set a benchmark. Like, if opera gains 7% of the market share, then well add it to the forum.

The inflow of Opera threads does seem to be slightly slowing, but holding strong enough. Perhaps it truly is time for an Opera SubForum.
