Anyone know if controllers and games will be for sale before the system itself? I don't want to have a system with only 1 controller.

Yes accessories are going on sale November 15th. Which is rumored to be around a week in advance of the Hardware.

I just talked to a guy from Gamespot and he's like "I doubt it".

I find that people that work at Gamespot and/or EBGames *usually* have no freaking idea what they're talking about. You're much better off asking online and getting actual information than asking one of these idiots.

Haha... very naive to think that this will actually change anything! :p

Because 400 would be what the USD version will cost, due to currency differences. In reality, according to the currency converter, the Xbox 360 Premium package should be $484.

399.99 USD = 484.408 CAD

1 USD = 1.21105 CAD

1 CAD = 0.825730 USD

So if in fact it is 500, we are being ripped off.

it doesn't really surprise me... alot of stuff is overpriced in canada.

What bothers me is why is this thing so expensive anyway... can someone fill me in. I mean, i understood why the original xbox and ps2 were $299 because they were also a dvd player, but with dvd players now cheaper than vhs players, going for around $30 that play svcd's and vcd's. I can't help but wonder what makes the xbox 360 worth $500. It comes with 1 controller which is stupid because anyone buying a 360 is undoubtedly gonna want to show it off to others, and knowing MS, as they did with the original xbox, the controller will be incredidbly overpriced, in the $50-60 range. I guess i haven't read all of the xbox specs well enough to understand the price, what are it's "high price" features, aside from playing games?

Ok just a question, ps 3 design is way better and looks state of the art compared to 360 dont cha think?..lol now which one to get first...damn i need a PSP also...what should i get first im trying to wait for psp to get like 50 bucks cheaper btu that aint working..lol

Well I dont know if I agree with the whole Dell computer thing, but who cares what the systems look like? (Granted I will agree that PS3 is just plain ugly) It's the games that count at this point, and frankly the 360 controller is way better than what Sony showed so far.

Hey guys, is anyone able to tell me whether or not if you can access Windows Shares on an Xbox? Or access the Xbox's harddrive on a Windows computer? Haven't really been paying much attention, been waiting to see what the Rev was like.. but it looks like 360 is for me. :)

Ehhh I dont think so, though it will act as a windows media extender so maybe... You can plug in an external hard drive through USB to listen to music off of it so I dont see why not... But windows wont read the xbox hard drive without some hacks, im sure of that.

i dont like the design of the ps3 at all, its ugly and i dont see 'state of the art' in it.

It's a little more out there design wise, but, doesn't look any more state-of-the-art.  That term is thrown around WAY to much IMO.

hey guys.. I am sooo confused. I really want to buy xbox360 when it comes out. But I now i am thinking I should wait because it only comes with standard DVD 8.5GB. I heard that they are going to add HD DVD in the future and I really that drive in my xbox360. I am also thinking how would the game works compare to DVD 8.5GB and HD DVD. So If I buy the xbox360 now, can I add HD DVD after. Does anybody now when they going to solve the HD DVD and Blu-Ray problem. So what is the purpose of having Blu-Ray and HD DVD in your XBox360 or PS3, it is use for movies only but how is it going to affect the games. So If a game is made for both PS3 and Xbox360 and Blue-Ray can hold 50GB and today's DVD can hold 8.5GB, doesn't that affects the games like better picture, sound, CG or more stuff on it.

Well yeah I dont know whats going on about that HD-DVD thing. I also heard that they might use it later on but theres no way they'd leave their early adopters out in the dust...

HD-DVD support will most likely just be to play movies and never be used for games.

If they would they would get a LOT of people on their back, me including. I'd go mental...

Can anyone explain to me what the difference is between Perfect Dark Zero and Perfect Dark Zero? Does it justify the 10 dollar price difference? Both Best Buy and Futureshop say the same useless crap...

Dopamine has been designed for Windows 7, Windows 8.x and Windows 10 and plays mp3, ogg vorbis, flac, wma and m4a/aac music formats quite well. The best part? Dopamine 3.0.6 changelog: Fixed Manually edited album covers are overwritten on the next collection refresh Fixed AppImage package not working on modern GNU/Linux distributions Deleting song from playlist sometimes fails Playback controls only work when clicking on upper half of the buttons It's unclear that files must be tagged with an external ReplayGain scanner (for example rsgain) before normalization can take effect. This maintenance-focused release includes bug fixes, updated translations, and a range of safe enhancements. This release fixes a Windows security issue that could allow arbitrary file deletion during privileged cleaning (reported by Zeze with TeamT5). It also adds new cleaners (including a DNS cache cleaner, Claude Code, and Visual Studio Code forks), support for multiple Chrome and Edge profiles, new deep scan options for developer directories like node_modules and venv, and safer, faster file shredding. All Platforms Added cleaners for Claude Code, DNS cache, and many Visual Studio Code forks. Added support for multiple Chrome and Edge profiles. Chrome can now clean downloaded AI models. Deep Scan can optionally remove venv, __pycache__, node_modules, and .angular directories. Deep Scan is faster by skipping directories on the keep list. File shredding is safer, faster, and leaves fewer recoverable traces. Improved handling of cookies, symlinks, Unicode filenames, external processes, and configuration files. Improved Expert Mode warnings and long warning dialogs. Fixed crashes related to cleaner detection, invalid Unicode, and malformed cleaner data. Clipboard is now cleared automatically after shredding files via paste operations. Linux Added AppImage support. Added cleaners for Visual Studio Code, Codeium, Librewolf (.deb), Transmission (Flatpak), and Profanity. Improved Linux trash detection, including Snap-installed applications and mounted drives. Fixed startup crashes when Python Requests is unavailable. Windows Fixed a security vulnerability that could allow arbitrary file deletion when cleaning with elevated privileges. Added %WindowsSystem% variable support. Improved clipboard clearing using native Windows APIs. Improved installer experience on unsupported Windows versions. Reduced installer size and improved application robustness. Fixed Unicode handling, filename anonymization, Git revision reporting, and splash screen stability. • DriversCloud 12.1.6 by Razvan Serea With DriversCloud (formerly My-Config.com), you can explore your computer easily, safely and free. The application quickly scans your PC and identifies the hardware and software components. DriversCloud then establishes a list of the different drivers compatible with your OS and hardware. Download the drivers needed for the proper functioning of your computer. To detect your drivers, DriversCloud also displays a detailed summary of your hardware and software configuration, analyzes your BSOD, monitors in real-time your PC voltages and temperatures and lets you share your configuration online. Once the hardware components have been detected, you will be able to obtain with just a few clicks the latest drivers corresponding to the identified hardware. You can record your configuration on the site for free, and can get the corresponding URL to post the configuration to technical forums, e-mail and social networks. You can also download the detection result (the configuration) as a PDF file. To protect the user's privacy and data confidentiality, a 4-level confidentiality system was created that filters the XML marks and gives control to the user. The default level can be modified in the preferences. Using the maximum level will prevent the user from publishing his configuration and generating a corresponding PDF file. In non-connected mode, each XML configuration is stored on the server for one day (for practical reasons). However, you are given the opportunity to manually delete it. Created in 2004, and continually improved, My-Config.com has established itself on the web as a free service to PC users running Windows and Linux operating systems. The service is designed to work with the most common Internet browsers (Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Safari).
