Firefox themes not working, and "Find" not working

So i downloaded themes for firefox, go into the themes menu and try to load one to use and i restart FF and nothing happens.

as for the "find" when i press " ' " to find what i type it wont find anything at all, not even a simple word that i'm looking at . like "the" it wont find it.

any help please? thanks

Well the Noia themes work here.

Can only suggest you may have Profile contamination from a previous install of Firefox/Phoenix/Mozilla. Best soved by deleting your Mozilla folder in Application Data (after saving critical files to a Temp location) and starting anew.

BTW, to get a more or less instant Theme change (you don't have to restart Firefox, that is) put this in about:config or user.js

user_pref("extensions.dss.enabled", true);
