Likelihood of dell offering Windows Mobile 2k5?

I recently bought a DELL Axim X50...(for christmas) and It has Windows Mobile SE 2003. what are the chances that dell will release an upgrade for it that i can install?

if not can i jank it from an OEM manufacturer or something? it looks too good to pass up..and ill be ****ed that my PDA will already be outdated so fast...

i just spoke with a tech rep at DELL, and he said that they WOULD offer an upgrade, and i asked him every which way...no need to buy new hardware, wont be free, but it will be offered as an upgrade FOR AXIM X50 CUSTOMERS and UP.

actually i wouldnt see why not since its fully capable of handling the os i dont get this. if they dont i suggest u write a letter of complaint.

yeah, i wonder how much they'll charge... and how they'll make us upgrade?? will they ship a cd, allow us to download or make us send in the pda's to dell to get upgraded. also, will we lose all our data like a firmware update?

i have an x50mid and i would love to upgrade if it's even worth it, and worth the price.
