Here's an update of my Tiger port. Based on the final version of Tiger.

Version 2 of my Tiger port. Package contains Tiger Blue and Graphite all with Normal and Compact StartMenus and Apple and WinFlag Startbutton, three different font sizes (Lucida Grande 8, Tahoma 8 and Arial - 8)

I haven't started the WindowBlinds version yet.

Appreciate your help in fixing the Start Menu Compact graphic bug

I hope I'm not being an annoyance but I note a small graphic bug in the Microsoft Office Picture Manager - on the 3D button (Auto Correct, OK, etc). Note the red marker. Thanks for an awesome Mac OS X Tiger VS!

Sometimes you'll find problems in other application. Most, if not all programs out there are designed to work with Windows default interface.

I'm using Graphite color non-spotlight non-compact variation with Tahoma sub-style.

Shouldnt the tab labels be in Tahoma too instead of Arial?

Also the tabs are a bit wider than other themes, I suppose its caused by the bitmap used? Or the margins around the tab label?

The result is on some programs that have a dialog full of tabs they all dont fit on one line as they do with most other. See same dialog as above in Codename Opus:

For someone that asked, GraphiteFox is a theme that matches this variation quite good, even though its not completely bug-free.

What would be a good Explorer Toolbar theme to match Tiger Graphite? I dont like the default Aqua/Tiger Finder icons, I mean some other?

    • Apple are scared of their customers! They have built a brand over the years of "it just works out of the box", but that slows innovation. Samsung's master stroke was the Galaxy Ultra: "Let's cram everything into one handset, make it so stupid only real nerds will love it, some of the features will work, some won't, but the audience will have such a high tolerance they won't care". Apple has no such device and so they are constantly worrying these days about the fallout of creating a new experience that customers might not like. I know it is often cited the reason they don't build a touchscreen Mac Book is they don't want to cannibalise the the iPad market, but I think it's equally cold feet after the criticism Microsoft receive trying to make a touch compatible desktop OS

    • So, an article that has nothing to do with Windows 11, still gets Windows 11 in the title and a build number as the picture? Dell have a buggy build of Support Assist HP have UEFI settings that need unlocking for the secureboot cert upgrade to take place.
    • What I can't seem to understand is that Google are paying SpaceX? Surely it would be the other way round, with SpaceX needing Google's datacenters etc.? Oh well, this level of money and power is way outside of my comprehension at the best of times.
