Wow, Boz mind telling us what you do? You've certainly achieved a LOT in four years of hard work...

yeah at least what industry you are in? and what previous knowledge did you have b4 you came to states?  I mean if you very a CEO in a contry and run away loosing all your money i can see getting rich again would be quick and easy for you.

if you very a high school grad starting from absolute scratch, then i would expected it to be a huge amount of work. so which is it?

I did have college degree coming from Europe to US. Then first year living in the US I went to college and got my US BA degree in visual communications. One year only because they accepted my degree from Europe and I only had to take general education classes. College was more of a chance to start dealing with smaller businesses that were looking for cheaper rates through college students. After a while I started meeting more and more people, getting better projects and one thing led to another.

I do graphic design/web development for entertainment industry and real estate corporations here in Arizona. Entertainment industry is not sex/porn sites just to let you know :) I do web sites for Hollywood movie studios and not only web sites but many other interactive stuff as well. I work with a few web agencies located in LA and I give them more then any partner could give in terms of time and dedication.

I love what I do and I believe (with a risk of sounding cocky) that I am good at what I do. I do think though that being the best is not the crucial thing in becoming successful. I think that hard work, dedication to your clients and getting stuff in a timely manner bring more weight to success then just talent.

I'm also holding a creative director position in an AZ company that is an online retailer for performance and other cool parts for sport compact cars.

Did that answer your question?

nice. its great to have a job that you love and that also pays well. esp a creative job.

btw, i was actually considering a mazda 6 as my next car if i was to get a new car to replace my 98 used one.

but after seeing the pictures of them together my opinion of it went down.

off well maybe i have enough money to buy an audi 4... maybe next year.

Wow, that new A6 looks absolutely gorgeous in black.

Congratulations and excellent choice.

I recently test drove a new, black A4 2.0T Quattro. Phenomenal car. I am a huge fan of the direction Audi is going (except in price of course :p).

With any luck, I'll be able to trade my 2000 A4 in for one this year. Although I'll be sure to check out those A6s if I think I might be able to afford one :)

But, its a jetta ....    :p

That's like saying an Aston Martin DB9 is "just a Ford Escort." The only Audi that uses anything made by VW is the A3 (which is based on the Golf platform), and the upcoming Q7 (which is based on the Touareg/Cayenne).

That's the American Dream...the ability to come here and work to achieve your dreams under a government that will not interfere, or even help you with them.

Just out of curiosity, which country in Eastern Europe? My great-grandparents hail from Poland...=)

    • Qualcomm's new Snapdragon Reality Elite chip brings on-device AI to Android XR devices by Pradeep Viswanathan Qualcomm has been delivering dedicated SoCs for mixed reality and spatial computing devices for several years. The journey started with the Snapdragon XR1, followed by the Snapdragon XR2 in 2019, the Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 in September 2023, and finally the Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 2 in 2024. Today, Qualcomm announced a major upgrade with the new Snapdragon Reality Elite Platform, which targets premium mixed reality and spatial computing devices. OEMs can use this SoC to power both all-in-one video-see-through headsets and lightweight, tethered optical-see-through glasses. Qualcomm highlighted that the Snapdragon Reality Elite will power the next wave of Android XR devices coming later this year. These wearables will offer better visuals, improved power efficiency, and deeper on-device AI integration compared to the previous generation. The Snapdragon Reality Elite can deliver up to 48 TOPS of AI performance, allowing large language models and large vision models to run directly on the device for the first time. In addition to enabling new spatial AI experiences, these new AI capabilities will improve head and hand tracking, as well as see-through features. On the performance side, the Snapdragon Reality Elite offers up to 60% higher GPU performance, up to 30% higher CPU performance, and up to 160% higher NPU performance compared to the previous generation. The platform supports visuals of up to 4.4K per eye at 90 frames per second for sharper images and smoother motion. Qualcomm is also claiming significant efficiency improvements. The Snapdragon Reality Elite can offer up to 20% longer battery life under the same workload. More importantly, the chipset can run up to 12 degrees Celsius cooler under load, making headsets more comfortable for users to wear for longer periods. The platform also includes improvements to video see-through, featuring lower latency and better image quality. Qualcomm states that its EVA hardware block helps accelerate demanding computer vision workloads, improving how digital content blends with the real world.
    • Umm... GitHub continues to use AWS. That's the story, that's the headline. There's no "new" news here. GitHub continues to require additional capacity beyond the originally-planned Azure allocations. There's nothing special about this; nothing noteworthy. They're still using AWS' infra until the cutover is complete.

    • Hello, I have used a few TEAM Group SSDs, USB flash drives, and Micro SDXC cards in the past. They all seemed to work fine. Regards, Aryeh Goretsky
    • "just $100 per TB"? Just? Are we trying to make this seem like the new normal? Kinda weird to make it sound like that is not a ridiculously expensive asking price.
