would the lack of ABS and the like not contribute to nonlegalness?

585878093

no, actually ABS is still an option (and rightfully so, I hate ABS on most vehicles). ABS hasn't actually shown to prevent accidents at all. It helps improve cornering in high-braking situations, but for one, most people don't turn at all when approaching an accident right in front of them, and secondly, those that do, most of them are better off using a quick hard jab at the brakes, and steering while applying the throttle. ABS increases the minimum stopping distance, which when stopping in a straight line like most people do, is actually a safety concern. Statistics determine everything, and the statistics haven't changed at all since the introduction of ABS. Right now ABS is more of a selling feature, and some manufacturers are considering havin the base models without ABS and having it an option once again.

Personally, I find only certain manufacturers pull off a good ABS system, the rest don't work worth beans.

As someone before said, power isn't what makes the best supercar. It's the one that's your personal favorite, no matter if it's the fastest car in the world (TVR CS12 or Koenigsegg CC, they both claim they are) cos at the end of the day this extra 10mph isn't going to make any difference in the way you drive the car. Also at the end of the day not many people here will ever get the chance to own one, so post whichever supercar makes you dream the most!

Whereever you guys are seeing the Koni or the TVR being the fastest, show me a credible link. Until then, IMO the McLaren is still the fastest.

But best supercar? Far from it.

SL65 or something. :) A lot of power, and it's packed with luxury.

If half those cars can be on that list, I don't understand why none of the Mercedes AMG's are.

yep, my point precisely. your "leet", xx using, z replacing s username entitles you to not comprehend the statement which i made.

585875304

I don't see how that is "leet" as I had this name before I even knew about CS or anything. So because I have X's in my name I don't understand you? Time to wake up and get out of your hole kid.

Anyway. The best supercar would have to be either Enzo or CGT.

The Chrysler ME Four Twelve

The engine is from AMG, with 850 bhp @ 5750 rpm, with 850 lb-ft. (1150 N-m) of torque between 2500 and 4500 rpm on premium unleaded fuel.

With a curb weight of just 2880 lbs. (1310 kg), the ME Four-Twelve has the weight-to-power ratio of 3.4 lbs/bhp ? a new performance record.  In actual Chrysler speed runs, the ME Four-Twelve goes from 0-60 mph in 2.9 seconds, 0-100 mph in 6.2 seconds, and it will blister through the quarter mile in 10.6 seconds at 135 mph.  The estimated top speed of the ME Four-Twelve is 248 mph (400 km/h). well im not a fan of supercars, i like the skyline but that one looks cool

I absolutely LOVE the SL55 (there's one not far from here) but imo they don't count as "supercars" as such, just very very good sports cars. Although I guess if I've got the 8-series beemer there I might as well add the CL55 and the such.

I voted mclaren...

because .. well.. it is..

I am however saddended to see the word ricer next to skyline.

because well, thats kinda ignorant..

but then again, the Skyline isnt a supercar anyways.

But I have however found a list of Bonafide Supercars, for yall to gOOGLE over.

I would have to say the McLaren F1 LM, just for the utter technology that is involved.

First off, it has two 3/4 HP fans that suck air from under the car and blow it into ducts that propel it skyward. This creates two really good effects. The first is the vacuum it creates under the car. It literally sucks the car to the road. The second is the downforce created by the propulsion of the air skyward. Great. Innovative. Yes... please.

I love the Enzo, but on top of that... I would say the Ferrari F50 GT. It eats all.

Ferrari pwns joo.

Oh yeah... Skylines aren't supercars. They are slow and fat. 3500 lbs and only 276 HP... come on!

Any car though... it'd have to be the Ferrari F2004. 945 HP... 875 LB/FT. 1300 LBS. One... fast... beast. Yes, please.

    • Who is paying for this 30x scale-up? Its sounds expensive.
    • Millions of users to benefit from Windows 11's new performance boost on Adobe Photoshop by Sayan Sen Despite the advent of AI-generated imagery, Adobe's Photoshop remains one of the most popular tools on this planet. Adobe does not have a publicly reported total user count but it's probably not wrong to assume there are millions. As of 2025, Adobe Creative Cloud has had approximately 41 million paid subscribers, many of whom likely use Photoshop. In addition, more than 166,000 companies worldwide are apparently also using the app. These figures are according to a very recent report by SQ Magazine. Out of them, it is fair to assume that many are probably running Windows. As such, there is good news for these users as Microsoft has announced Photoshop is getting a big 20% performance boost on x86-64 (AMD64) systems and a 13% bump-up on Arm devices. This is definitely great news for them as many have complained about the slow performance and general sluggishness of Photoshop on Windows 11 ever since the advent of the latter back in 2021. If you are wondering how Microsoft managed to do this, the answer lies in a combination of compiler-level optimizations and a technology called Sample Profile Guided Optimization (SPGO). According to Microsoft, Adobe worked closely with the company’s Visual C++ team and adopted the latest MSVC toolchain enhancements together with SPGO to squeeze more performance out of Photoshop’s CPU-bound workloads. Unlike traditional Profile Guided Optimization (PGO), which requires developers to create special instrumented builds and run lengthy training workloads, SPGO gathers performance data directly from optimized release binaries. This means Adobe could collect real-world usage information which gives a major advantage to this technique, as companies could leverage data collected from actual customer workloads rather than only relying on synthetic benchmark runs. In theory, this should allow optimizations to better reflect how users interact with software in the real world. Thanks to this, there are improvements to code layout, function inlining, hot-and-cold code separation, and other low-level tweaks that help processors execute instructions more efficiently. Essentially the compiler is better able to identify “hot” code paths, those which are most frequently executed, and optimize them accordingly.
    • "The 2TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe SSD hits lowest price in over three months¨ I'd prefer to see the lowest price in over a year
    • Glad these prices are starting to come down, but that is still crazy. I bought the 2TB 9100 Pro (slightly more expensive version with PCIe 5.0) last year for $240.
    • The 2TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe SSD hits lowest price in over three months by Sayan Sen Yesterday, we covered a really good deal wherein you can get a 4TB TeamGroup T-FORCE G50 NVMe PCIe Gen4 SSD for a low price of just $400 with a special discount coupon. That's just $100 per TB, making it a very good offer during these hard times. The deal is still live, so you can check it out in its dedicated article here if you do not want to miss out. Meanwhile, if you don't have that kind of budget but still wish to buy an SSD for a good price, the 2TB variant of the TeamGroup SSD at $280 its lowest price in over three months. Meanwhile, those seeking 2TB but faster performance can check out Samsung's 990 PRO, which has hit the lowest price also in the last quarter or so, as it's on sale for $370 (purchase links under the specs table down below). Thus, you want a faster drive, get the 990 Pro, or you want more capacity, grab the TeamGroup 4TB linked in the first para. The 990 PRO is a PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD and still one of the fastest drives available today for under $500. Speaking of fast, sequential reads and writes are rated at 7450 MB/s and 6900 MB/s, respectively. The random throughputs for reads and writes are 1400K IOPS and 1550K IOPS, respectively. The 990 PRO is based on Samsung's 7th Gen V-NAND flash, and it too is TLC. It packs 2 gigs of LPDDR4 DRAM cache, which helps the random performance. The endurance rating for this is 1200 TBW (terabytes written), which should be sufficient for most users. The Samsung 990 PRO is compatible with the PlayStation 5, but if you are going to use the 990 PRO on a PC, check out the Samsung Magician app that lets you track your drive's health, update its firmware, customize various settings, and more.
