Stupid question, stupid answer, NO it doesn't. The mere fact you are asking this implies that you do. No offence.

actually in the 'should people be allowed to delete their own posts" poll I said postcount doesn't matter and people said I was in a small minority thinking that, I just wanna know if that's true.

i think yes, a look at someone with about 100 posts and think their below me, then i look at 5000 posts and repect them

I know this sounds pathetic, but its just the way i think, i know more/less posts doesnt make any1 better or worse than me

Agreed, that happens with me as well. I show more respect to people with 1000s of posts, people with under 100 dont get as must respect.

No. But some of the folks here just insist that i spam and i'm judged here by the number of posts by some members.

I've seen you get a grilling that you spam, it must be a little annoying when you do genuinely help people in the hardware section alot.

I personally would say that I have a low percentage of spam posts, and always try to help where I can. So in my case, my post count does matter, because I've tried to contribute to the community, and not just tard it up.

Some people all they do is "Lol" or "congrats" all day. They may as well not even bother. It's not like anyone actually knows them.

Sorry, I agree post count doesn't matter, why should it?

It's like making a point system up outlining everytime you have given an opinion out and then comparing it with other people.

However it can make a difference to newer members who are looking for an authority figure.

People SAY that postcount doesn't matter but the stink would be incredible if we ever talked about hiding it or removing their stars. We had a rush of new subscribers after we found a way to give them a subscriber badge while keeping their stars. People love their stars.
