[Definitive] Star Wars Episode III: ROTS

Recommended Posts

Comes out tommorow and it sure looks spiffy. From demos people have said the gameplay consists of more than just button mashing. Personally Jedi Outcast and KOTOR were my favorite Star Wars games but hopefully this looks to be a contender. The lightsaber dules look so pretty I really don't even mind if the gameplay isn't up to par. Will any of you die hard SW fans hold off playing it until the movie comes out to avoid spoilers?

Is tis going to be a game of the movie? I mean fllowing the exact same story, or does it play another "side" of the story? (ala matrix reloaded/ETM)

Supposed to follow it pretty closely with some added scenes that were left out from the movie

TIE fighter for PC is still my favorite Star Wars game. Most Star Wars game that I have played that is console only never seems to be any good with the exception of Dark Forces for N64 and Rouge Squadron II for GameCube. I am going to rent this one and see how good it is.

Yah I loved X-Wing Alliance. Wish I could play Rogue Squadron II but don't have a GC.

The game is awesome. But im stuck on the "Attack of the Clones" level where im on a tank, and obi-wan says he needs to destroy turrets, but there is no turrets just clones attacking left n right

EDIT: Ack, never mind, threw the lightsaber at a turret lower down. :p

Enjoy the game. Its proably one the best SW games I have ever played.

Sorry for the DP, but i just finished it. It's not too long, and not too short. The gameplay is just perfect. The duel multiplayer is great!! really adds value to the game. Be sure to complete both the endings tho, the last one kinda shocked me :)

If I had to give it a rating out of 10, i'd say 9.5/10. This has to be one of the best star wars games ever produced, and if you dont go out and buy it, youre missing out on a treat.

I went to buy the PC version to find out they did not have it and had no orders for it

I then sat down and played the Xbox version in the store and ended up buying an Xbox & the game.

WOOT!!! I now can re-join the ranks of console gamer.

Man, I havn't had a console system since SNES ... Only my PC ...

Anyhow ... This game is that good!

It made me spend a lot of cash to buy the system just so I could play the game.

Haha, that's crazy. I got myself an Xbox just to play Chaos Theory. I was pondering buying one for a long time but once CT came out, I went ahead and bought it. Now I wish I had got one a long time ago, there are many games that have been out for awhile that are a blast to play and there are a bunch of new titles that are fantastic as well.

Good job (Y)

If you like X-Wing Alliance you should really get Star Wars Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader. I think it was either the second or third game I got for the GameCube and it seriously is still one of the best looking games in this generation of consoles. The third one wasn't really good because it had ground missions, but it had co-op of Rogue Squadron II. I think it is $20 now so it is pretty damn cheap for a great game (it has a respectiable 90% score on gamerankings).

    • never mind the video had a couple swear words... gosh it was funny!
    • It's expensive, but I bet it will still sell out just like the Steam Deck and the Steam Controller
    • This is listed as a preview in WU for me. I usually don't grab them as previews; what's your opinion on it so far?
