Heeeeeeeeeeelp! I haven't dropped my iPod or anything. I just turned it on today and there is a horizontal line that wont display anything. like, when you are browsing through songs, it gets higlighted (you know, black borders and blank letters). there is a thin line that won't go dark. also, while songs are playing, the line goes through the middle of the artist name row. Help please? I've tried resetting (menu+middle butto), but it didnt work. am i going to have to send it back to apple?

BTW, it is a 4 month old 4gb iPod Mini, Silver.

What drop?

but thats why you should send it in.

you get a free replacement screen, because you did nothing to cause it!

i'd be happy?:huh::

Well, its still under warranty...But still, its nothing to be happy about. Its like being shot and surviving: sure, be happy you're alive, but you DID get shot........

I guess I'll just Fedex it to them. Do I have to pay shipping both ways? Shipping from the Dominican Republic to California won't be too cheap...O god this sucks.

http://depot.info.apple.com/ipod. You MUST setup a dispatch before hand... you cannot just ship it in and expect to get one back, w/o a dispatch. Also... LCD issues are a touchy issue with apple, dont be suprised if they do not repair, and cite User Inflicted Damage (even though you say that you didnt drop)
