DesktopX problem

i got a problem with DesktopX:

every time i click "show desktop", all my dx-objects disappear.

i know, it's caused by another window which opens the desktop, or at least something like this.

but is there a workaround for this? or will there be an updated version of dx which places the objects again on the desktop?

ah, i remember, this was my first thread :)

anyway, i got a solution:

i've written a small program in VB which also show the desktop and the desktopx-icons.

it comes in two flavours:

one that basically does the same as winkey+m (minimize all), and the other using the standard-method and then flashing itself for some milliseconds on the desktop.

if anyone wants it send me a mail or a PM :)

You know VB? We may need to talk....DesktopX is a secondary choice for a dock emulation ;)

yeah, but i'm not too familiar with these direct draw api's you would need (i think).
