Old Backup, New Board

Hey

I recently updated IPB from 1.2 to 2.03 (my boards crashed so I decided to update :p).

Now I've got an old backup (ibf_dbbackup.sql) and I can't seem to upload and use it, I keep getting error and messed up boards.

Is there any way for me to use my old backup?

I think there is a tool offered by Invision that will convert the database for you.

When you backed up your boards did you also back up the PHP files?

& was the backed up version 1.2?

Try reinstalling IPB 1.2, initiating the backup. Then upgrading to 2.03

I'm going with what the crock said, its seems like the easiest solution. Thanks ;).
