Whats the Safest way to Store Icons?

I have a lot of single ICO files, but then I have some Libaries.

Whats the safest way?

It seems single icons are smaller in size than putting them all in a libarary, but it wouldnt bother me either way.

I had a bit of trouble though - Alxais Icon Workshop seemed not to liek icon libaries over 60 MB or so. Microangelo didnt like them though, so AIW might have written them badly which caused me to loose a shed load of icons :(

But all is well, I have most of them back,

ive had similar problems..in my personal experinece i found it easier to just change all library files to .ico and store them in a compressed folder (zip or rar) or save them as an exe file

Hmm, well, i can just store them in individual folders.

i don't know about safest way.. but i make an icon snapshot with iconworkshop, then i compress the folder with winrar.. so i can have a look for what i want without expanding all .rar's..
