Hi guys!

I just finished a mockup, together with my friend Keito. And well... maybe, if a lot of people like it, we can make it into a visual style. Although, we don't even know how to create a complete VS, simply because we've never done it before :p

Anyways, here's a preview:

looks good. although you should lose the line half-way through the bars and go for a gradient. IMHO

I had to translate it from Dutch to English, so that's where the mistake wa:p:p

I like it.

Pros:

- small bars

- blue (yay! no need to change my desktop should this be used)

- looks like it won't attract attention from work

- cool start button :>

Cons:

- nothing truly innovative in this one (except the start button) - this kind of minimize/full screen/close buttons I've already seen; concept for bar massively used in other VS

Anyway should you finished this one, here's one user for it :) 'cos I simply like it

it looks like infini8 a little, but anyways usable with some other nice start button, maybe a windows flag or something.

Thanks for the positive replies so far everyone. But unfortunately, Stylebuilder is ****ing me of really bad. I have absolutely no idea how to operate it. So I'm not quite sure if this will ever get finished. I can make everything in Photoshop, but that would be quite useless.

Maybe Keito and me can colab with someone who is more experienced at Stylebuilder... We'll have to see... :)

i can help you guys. i have a visual style i made a long time ago that could be modded to make that pretty easily.

mockup more of the elements and i will help you out...

notice i said help though. i won't do it all for you.

you need buttons, radio buttons, sliders, everything...

Jesus I feel your pain. I've just finished a mock-up but the last two hours I spent with StyleBuilder (having never used it before) leads me to believe it'll never see reality. Can I post my mock-up, what are the rules?
