Neowin's Freeware Alternative List

Out of curiosity, shouldn't Quicktime and Realplayer Alternative be on this list? I know that Quicktime and Realplayer are free, but they're also annoyingly bloated, and the Alernative packs are excellent freeware alternatives:

Enigma is an editor and IDE with a difference. Like other editors, you can use Enigma as a text and image editor and configure it to automatically feed text files into your favourite compiler. The text editor currently includes syntax colouring for C/C++, Java, C#, HTML, Pascal, Basic, ASM, Fortran, Perl, Python and PHP files. You can also configure Enigma to provide colouring for other languages. Both the text editor and the image editor have multiple undo/redo facilities as well as many other features you would normally expect in a good IDE.

The difference between Enigma and other IDEs is that you can also use Enigma to create and edit resources (dialogs, 'editors', menus, tool bars, status bars....) on the fly. These become Enigma add-ons with the result that you can create and release your own applications based on Enigma.

GO, as a shell, can start with system resources above 90% (Mileage may vary)

GO will run StartUp.bat when it starts in place of a StartUp folder.

GO supports 38 Hotkey application launches via shortcuts within GO's homefolder. Cut-(A-Z), Cut-(0-9), !Restart & !Shutdown Example:CTRL+E to launch Cut-E

GO's Fav button can run your favorite app. Like Explorer.exe or 2xExplorer.exe or that memory intensive game or a screensaver...

NEW! - GO is now skinnable, just make or alter the "Skin.bmp" and save it to GO's homefolder, or pick another with ALT+S.

NEW! - GO now supports a history of sorts, the file "History.txt" is a quick list you can access with the cursor keys.
