Fable 2's development started before Fable 1 started to ship. They knew they didnt give the promise that was initially stated by the developer so they decided to fullfill it in Xbox 2 with X 360 because it would be able to handle everything promised in Fable

You will be able to raise your own child

ingame features are like aging NPCs, growing environments, and hero competition

NPCs will have thier own personalities and will react 10x more differently than fable 1

More armor, weapons and clothing

More indepth Good/Evil System

You will have options of Working, your own House, taking care of your house and business

The Universe will be persistent like GTA except much bigger

Set 100 years after events of Fable 1

You can get lost too..

Upgrading your Character will have a dozen times more options

Lionhead Guarantees game will take 4-5 times longer to finish than fable 1

Fable 2 will have 20 possible endings

You can Swim in Fable 2

You can ride a ship to reach Islands in Fable 2

You need a horse or it will take too long to reach destinations in Fable 2 such is the size of the environment

You can change your hairstyle much more extensively than fable 1

Much more customizable weapons and magic

Fable was a really watered down hack and slash RPG that somehow appealed to a lot of people because of its fairy tale charm. I liked it, personally, and can't wait for the sequel.

I didn't like Fable that much. Complete lack of story and character identity. It felt short to me and I'm a really slow gamer. I'm sure it would be amazing though on the 360. I can't wait to see Jade Empire 2 and especially KOTOR 3. Oh man imagine the possibilities!

What about online play? They had to cut it out of the final for Fable 1, or it would have set back release date further. Surely it will be possible now with the hardware etc.

Also I hope it's much more free roaming than last time. Not being able to even walk off the path was a little annoying when I first played it.

Sounds like a great game though and I can't wait. Waiting release for the pc version of Fable 1 also :happy:

i hope it lives to the hype from lionhead studios, molyneux put alot of effort in fable and it didn't put out as it was supposed to, although i still thoroughly enjoyed playing the **** out of it.

i really want this game. cna't wait til tuesday.

i am sure my oldest son will be waitin for this game. as he thoroughly enjoyed playing and beating the first one.
