i replaced the system files with replacer, but I found that the system was a tiny bit sluggish when I had, I couldn't empty the trash, and I couldn't right-click the desktop, hit properties -> destop -> customize desktop -> general, and then change icons.

has anyone else experienced this? i just reverted back to my old icons.

how do I change the default icons of folders, etc?

I can change my computer, my documents, the recycle bin, and the network neighborhood easily, but I don't know how to change the icons for any other folder, file, etc. how do I do this and make the new icon default? drives?

Don't have any trouble with them, even tested the english pack on my french xp without trouble, don't know what's the problem, you sure you're on SP2???

For the rest you can easily change the folder icon by right-clicking the icon then customize and change icon or if you want it permanent then edit the shell32 provided with reshacker and change Icon n? 4 and 5 with the one you want.

Are you sure that if I use replacer, then this will work? I know that might sound stupid, but I've have already messed up my comp and fixed it again, and I don't really want to do that again. Is there anything else I should know? Thanks in advance.

very nice. just 2 questions:

1) Do you know of a good firefox theme for this, or at least a way to make the Bookmark bar have white text?

2) Could we possibly get a normal sidebar shellstyle?
