I have these iPod in ear headphones that I use for my iPod :

These headphones are rather uncomfortable though. I don't think I'm putting them on right. They always fall off and they feel uneasy. Sometimes, I put them on and they fit really comfortably, lol. How do you put them on the right way?

Sorry if this is a stupid question, lol.

LOL...when I saw this thread on the mainpage...I immediately thought...oh good I can recommend some better headphones than the crappy Ipod ones...but no...somebody is asking how to use headphones.

Lets help him with this, guys, and then we should show him how to make fire and that good ol' "front to back" rule when you go to the bathroom.

I find that the Etymotic Research ER?6 Isolator's are extremely comfortable and sound almost as good as my Grado SR-80's. Being constructed similar to an ear plug type of hearing protection, the ER?6 Isolator's will not fall out.

hahaha ^ (loser)

I tried moving it in my ear! It doesn't do anything. It's just sometimes it fits, and sometimes it doesn't.

I was just asking for help.. god...

I'm sorry I asked you

Right...I'm the loser...sure.

Whats even more ridiculous is that you have to go on the net to ask somebody how to put something in your ear. Come on, man. Seriously. Ask a friend.

Ignoring the trolls (is it just me or are there are lot more of em on neowin these days?), i had that happen to me a lot with the in-the-box headphones. I was gonna buy the inear ones thinking they would solve it, but now i know not to!

Instead i use some nice cushioned Sony headphones... really awesome quality, and i'm saved the discomfort of putting stuff in my ear!

Right...I'm the loser...sure.

I was just asking!! I'll ask tomorrow, at school dammit.

Well thanks everyone else. I'll just use some other headphones, lol. I just wanted to know how to put these ones on.

    • Remarkably based article from Garter - apparently there IS someone working there that actually understands mainframe systems.
