Windows cannot Clear ARP Cache

Well I a problem connecting to the internet but i finnaly find out how to get it working again but now i have this problem when i go to repair the connection.

It reads,

Clearing ARP Cache

Is there a fix for this i used google but could not find a fix for it.

do "arp -d *" at the command prompt.

If that doesn't work. reboot.

well i tryed that and then right clicked on the local erea network and then clicked on repair and i get the same error.

Restarting...

nope didnt work i have the services enabled and everything.

Try disabling (Routing and Remote Access) Requires Restart! Most Users don't need this service running. Mostly for Business Networks.

This is a service under Components Services.

Navigate to: Start/Settings/Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Services

If the service is running "Right Click: and Stop the service, Then "Right click and choose "Properties" then in "General" tab change Startup Type to "Manual" and Reboot>

All should be well!
