Boot manager alternative

Recommended Posts

Well, most Linux distros come with both GRUB and LILO. Plus XP (actually NT on up) have the NT Boot Loader.

There are third-party solutions, and you can buy boxed software in most computer stores to do this, as well.

Looking for anything in particular?

As Mark has already pointed out, more than likely the OS your looking to dual or even multi boot should provide the means of booting another OS.. As to 3rd party - a simple search turns up

http://www.osloader.com/

http://www.masterbooter.com

http://www.boot-us.com/ - FREE for private use.

http://btmgr.webframe.org/ - FREE

etc.. etc..

Most partition software - Partition magic, Partition Manager, etc.. come with a boot manager.. Shoot for that matter most recent bios's allow you to pick which HD to boot from.. So if your OS's are installed on different HDs you can just pick one to boot from your BIOS..
