hi, cant open one of my partitions (hdd: maxtor).

i only get the message:

setupSNK.exe coud not be found...

searchd for it on my drives, couldnt find it, too.

nothing helpfull on it in the net...

got any idea?

i am about to loose all my data and my mind...

That's very odd. SetupSNK.exe is a file that gets placed on a USB flash drive when you use it to store wireless network settings for use on a computer. It's created by the Wireless Network Setup Wizard. Unfortunately I can't see how that could have gotten placed on a hard drive. Do you have a wireless network or have you ever run the Wireless Network Setup Wizard?

yes, got wlan: router and dongle by medion; i use raspppoe 098b...

Right click the drive and select "Open", not the default(bold) one. Look for Autorun.inf file. Rename it.

tried that. didnt work still asked for the exe the next time i tried to doubleclick the drive...

looked at the inf-file. it really got somthing do do with wlan and a 'smrtntky' folder

- which i cant find.

but this thing is strange: why do i need a wlan-assistant to open a drive?

doesnt make no sence...

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

1. Click Start, click Run, type X:, where X is the letter of the physical hard disk drive that appears as a removable drive. Click OK.

2. Right-click the Autorun.inf file, and then click Delete.

3. Restart your computer.

You say you can not find the folder? Is your Windows to configured to show hidden and protected system files?
