Question
Morfix_Benny
Hi everyone...
i'm an adminisrator of big network (over 15,000 users), and i'm using active directory (windows 2000) to configure all users and desktops in the network.
i have wrote script in perl that checks some usefull stuff about the users and generates a txt file with the information.
but now i want to convert (and need to...) to more nicer program cause in the future i'm going to add more stuff to this program.
i already wrote small aplication with some tools in vb .net and i want to add this and don't know how:
i need a form where i have browse button and text box, when i will click the browse i need to see a screen like this (browse.jpg), but a one where i can browse all the groups in the active directory, then when i selct a group and cliks ok in the text box will appear the full path of this group.
i have read in msdn about active directory and found a resource called "DirectorySearcher", but not much luck, can't find how to this... (and i'm little new to .net).
so if any1 knows about some api or a way how i can do this, i'll be very thankfull, cause i need finish it until monday :(
thanks.
