Did I read somewhere that you have a modded version without the bright white in the program backgrounds? That would it perfect for me. Crappy lighting in my house, darker makes my eyes stay in my head longer. :cool:

I searched all over and couldn't find one, but i swear i heard it mentioned. :wacko:

I'm sorry, but I cant seem to fix your issue with the arrow. It's wierd that your having the problem, and others arnt :\ If I keep going into the -'s then the menu starts acting wierd so theres really nothing I can do to remedy your situation :( I will add more text room to the taskbar though, and MAYBE less room between menu items.

Yeah, the arrow thins isn't really a problem, but the lack of text space in the task bar can be bothersome. Thanks for the update.

i havent time to come up with anything yet... no need to now. that poop looks phat!!!! i can make different css for it and make is so that you can use the feature in gecko to where you can load up different stylesheets and it keeps it in memory so if a user likes the silver theme it will stay that way. make sure you make different versions of it.

are you building the html or is that just the template?

if it is, mail me the psd file for that and i will code html and see what i can come up with that.

I had the option of having a site all along thru various means and I never really wanted to start one. But if you guys feel I should have one, then I guess I could start one. It would make sense for the author to have a site for it :) So I can do one, and if people want to help with graphics and layout then I'll take any advise etc. :)

I guess then people could email me with/about app skins, and they could be in a central place.

kainashi I dont see any sense in a smaller taskbar, but if people want a version with a small taskbar I could try it.

Also I still need people to help me make shellstyles, if anyones up for the job email me or post here. I have a mockup but I've just been so busy this week (I am back to a fulltime job) I havent got around to updating anything.

hmmmm I just had an idea. How farout there would it be to make a section of the site where people can upload their own things to the site with preview, like themexp? Then people wouldnt even have to wait, or a small forum might work aswell.

thats ok, I dont even know much html :blink: I use coolpage mainly, cause it's so damn easy compared to writing it yourself :laugh:

Change your settings from white to other colours in this dialog:

I've been reading what you all have been saying about a "thin taskbar watercolor" and I'm wondering if when you all say that do you mean editing the taskbar to look like the watercolor theme? If so that would be tite, I would love to see an edited taskbar to go along with the theme, a matter of fact that is the one major reason why I get sick of the current watercolor theme, the taskbar is too bland for me.

That would be an awesome idea Binary, get to work! ;)

      It's funny that iPhone users think they are getting feature, where in fact they are getting cosmetics that just do iteration circles of "improvement" of the said cosmetics. Apple just doesn't know what to do with this product anymore. There is no innovation on this areas anymore.

      Alpine Linux 3.24 released with support for COSMIC Desktop and other improvements by David Uzondu Alpine Linux 3.24 has been released with updated system packages, including Linux kernel 6.18 and Rust 1.96. The team also added IPv6 support to the system installer, and they introduced automatic serial console configuration for headless setups. System76's COSMIC desktop environment is now available in the community repo. System76 originally started building this DE because its developers found GNOME to be pretty limited. Plus, it did not help that with virtually every GNOME update, the changes broke System76's custom desktop extensions. As for system packages, the Alpine team moved GTK+ 3.0 from the main repository to the community repository due to its legacy status. py3-setuptools has been upgraded to version 82.0.0, while the old pkg_resources module has been completely dropped. The team also removed outdated packages that still relied on py3-six and GTK+ 2.0. In addition to that, libsoup 2 has been removed because the library was affected by multiple security vulnerabilities.
