All the links are dead on the forum, you might want to PM Timan about it - since he made/hosted it.

Radish?

Anyone know about this supposed orange version?

And if the lite one was the only one with purple, how could I take it out and put it into the other Watercolor? I know it'd be with StyleBuilder, but could someone help me do it? What are all the steps?

Thanks.

So what did Binary & Timan make? From on that foreign site it doesn't look like either one made those new color versions.

So Timan made a version with aqua, and Binary made blue, ergonomic, green, purple, and silver? The other color mods were not officially made by him (Binary)? And purple was only ever in the lite version? :/

So can someone please help me to try to get the purple version out of lite and into the other version? :s I need help with what I'll have to do in Style Builder, taking out only purple from the lite and putting it into the other version and making that a new updated msstyle. :ermm: And perhaps making sure it still has a shellstyle while in the newer updated msstyle. :| I want to make sure that after I put purple into the other that it will still work correctly as it should. :dontgetit:

Timan "aquified" my watercolor port, which was an official mod of my theme. The love theme site didnt ask my permission to mod and distribute color versions, but I've known about it for years and could really care less. :)

As for your request, I'd love to help, unfortunately I havent used stylebuilder in a good year or more and dont plan to dabble in the VS scene ever again. Maybe WB themes, we'll see. :)

    • Close, but it is for any application starting, not just during boot time. In fact, it probably will not improve boot time at all because during a boot, the CPU is already boosting, so a pre-boost wouldn't change anything. I agree that it isn't exciting (especially considering every other OS already does it), but it is a good thing, even if they are just playing catch up.
    • Any so called performance increase will be in milliseconds, which nobody will actually notice in real world usage.
    • All it does is use the CPU more efficiently during boot to speed up boot times. That's it. Yawn....
    • It's not a one or the other kind of thing. Software should run efficiently, and the operating system should appropriately manage the CPU clocks. You could have the best most optimized software on earth, and it will still run faster if the CPU does a better job of boosting as needed. All this is doing is pre-boosting the CPU based on user actions, instead of waiting for the normal detection mechanism to kick in. If the OS knows it is about to need more CPU, why shouldn't it use that knowledge? It's the same idea of downshifting before passing someone, instead of just burying your foot into the peddle and waiting for the transmission to figure out what you want to do.
