System Error - Event: 5 Source: ACPI

Recommended Posts

There is this error in my system event viewer:

AMLI: ACPI BIOS is attempting to write to an illegal IO port address (0x74), which lies in the 0x74 - 0x76 protected address range. This could lead to system instability. Please contact your system vendor for technical assistance.

This error is listed twice after each boot. I am not experiencing any slow down or error message but I am just wondering what is this doing in the event viewer?

My System:

7VRXP

Athlon XP 1800+

Windows XP Pro
